I am very happy with thi item....it is useful and charge my surface very fast, so i can say that it an excellent charger

In total I have owned three of these in the three years I have owned my surface. I like that they are magnetic and that they are not very intrusive. But what I don't like about them is that the cord is really short and fragile. As I mention this is my third. Granted it's the only one you can get so you have to put up with it but it is really annoying. The first one I got, which came with my surface, the cord got finicky one day and then about a month later it stopped working, the second one just stopped working one day and it had nothing to do with the cable (I found out later after I cracked it open that it had a plug that came loose and when I plugged it back in it worked great). This last one has held up pretty good. I just hope that the newer surfaces cords have better construction.

This charger is fast charging. Great price to replace the first charger.

The charger works great for my alternate location, but it sure is pricey.
