The product is versatile. However, I think price should more affordable, and product strength needs to be durable and as awesome, as the RT Surface. The surface is awesome!

Microsoft is making it like Apple where you are forced to purchase their programs, their accessories, so they are not interchangeable. And far more costly.

I had the original charger that unfortunately got damaged . I was looking for reasonable options without trying to get something cheap that might potentially damage my Surface pro2 . The only option was this charger . It coated me around $33 with tax . It is working perfectly but not like the one I had coming with the surface . First , it is short winch makes movement restricted . Second and most important , it takes for ever to charge it .

For some reason this charger only works connected one way. The stock or OEM charger worked in any direction.

I like the Surface but am not fond of the attachment by magnet to the power supply cord.

This charger has worked very well. Only surprise was how short cable is.

Chargers are chargers. They do not do anything else but re-charging the battery. Why the Surface had to use a completely different charger that is fragile and not compatible with anything else? It works but...

The charger for the Surface is way to fragile. We've gone through 3 in less than a year.

I bought this charger for the Surface Pro and it fits the unit, but does not function as a charger. It sits gathering dust. Unfortunately, i destroyed the packaging when opening it.
