The appliances are very tall compared to normal ones so make sure you measure before purchasing.

It raises them up just the right height for us to access the units more comfortably and still be able to use the cabinets above.

I was under the impression that there was a small drawer. The positive is that it does raise the lower unit to a nice level to alleviate the bending over!!

I also like the fact that it has the adjustable legs at the bottom which balances out so there's no rocking back and forth of the machines.

I am only 5’3” and still need to bend over too far to reach into them and with back issues it’s a little harder. Other than that I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Allows a laundry basket to fit

The pedestal give just enough height to allow a laundry basket to rest against the machine without blocking the door. No clean clothes fall on the floor!
