Good in spots

The action is pretty good, but some of the characters and plot are not. Everybody's acting is pretty good, but Amber Heard's character is ridiculous (really hokey) and the father/daughter relationship between Costner and Hailee Steinfeld switches from believable to unbelievable throughout. Connie Nelson was good as the Mom. It's not a terrible movie, but it certainly isn't a great one. I'm glad I didn't pay too much for it.
