||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Proud Rebel is a nice story about a young boy who can't speak. His father is from the southern states after the Civil War ends and is trying to find a doctor to help his son. Seven Alone is a true story based on a family in 1843 when the West called. The family has to endure losses and is a remarkable story. Where the Red Fern Grows is a popular boy's storyline. I've heard of the book but had never seen the movie before. True courage in all the stories but some scenes may not be suitable for younger children.
