I have not needed to use this protection plan but its a win- win to buy one. Yes it costs extra BUT they literally will cover almost every accident and if i am not mistaken they cover theft for my GPS. I have used these plans in the past. I have always been wary of paying the extra money but it always pays off in the end if my devices meet any kind of untimely demise

I tend to buy warranties just to be on the safe side with products especially electrical products. Thus far Best Buy has stood by their warranties when I’ve had to return product beyond the return date .

Haven't needed the squad's service yet (purchased for a microwave oven) but I usually purchase on products because in the past it has paid off for me.

I had the 2-year Geek Squad protection on my previous dash cam. 18 months after the purchase if failed. BestBuy by replaced it no questions asked. Worth the money.

If you get a GPs, then get this plan. If something goes wrong & it can’t be fixed in store, what you paid for your GPS will go to the cost of a new one.
