Everyone says they're good with they're electronics, but I'm telling you... When the day comes, and it gets hit the wrong way, or something small breaks, you. Will. Feel. Awful. Buy the protection plan, and gain peace of mind. If not three, at least one year Incase you rarely use it

Nothing beats getting insurance, I highly recommend it I have replaced my camera 2 times and it was because of damage I caused. I was lucky to have insurance my product was exchanged for the exact same one with no issues

Only complaint is you have to go to the store for drop off and pickup for warranty service.

My protection is out of warranty now and I didn't need to use it. Wasted money? perhaps. However, the peace of mind that it was there, was very beneficial if something had come up for what it was bought.

Over the years, I have purchased several pieces of Nikon camera equipment (Nikon D7100, 24-70mm f/2.8 vr, 70-200mm f/2.8 vr, and SB700 speedlight) from Best Buy. The accidental protection plan has already saved me thousands of dollars in replacement costs. It is worth the extra cost.

Geek squad protection plan helps me peace of mind and Best Buy’s overall policies are customer friendly. Buying an expensive electronic product and keeping it under warranty always is recommended.

The price to benefit was astounding. I have not used this on the Lens but have used it on other products and it is by far worth it. Other protection plans have no local connection and require shipping, Best Buy is a store we all Love and wants to bring us back time and again.

A definite MUST when you buy an expensive camera. I had a Thousand dollar lens break in less than a year and Best Buy honored this warranty. Thanks because I was not about to buy another lens again.

Yes yes we can work tomorrow morning and tomorrow morning we have some tomorrow we have to do a couple of that tomorrow we can get a couple things for you to work together we are on the road

The reason why I purchase my electronics from Best Buy is because of this warranty!! I’ve never had an issue with replacing anything!

I like It. I use it. It makes me happy even though I had to yell for service. Does anybody at corporate even read these reviews, because I have written some really horrific ones based on lousy customer service and have not received one e-mail or call. I wonder.

Always a good idea to purchase protection just in case especially with valuable pieces of tech. You never know what could happen and it's great to have peace of mind when things go wrong

Love this. Price is down 1,000 for December so i wish id waited but i still don't regret it.

Better safe than sorry. If your going to invest this kind of money you better protect your investment. I would recommend this as a must have

this should be part of your purchase is you are spending decent money for any camera lens. the warranty coverage for 3 years allow you not have fear when using your expensive glass. Adds value to you investment.
