    Geek squad 5 year warranty does come in handy and is worth it but can be a hassle. My fridge quit cooling out of no where called geek squad that day got an appointment with tech two days later. Diagnosed the fridge as a bad compressor then geek squad contracted it out to a 3rd party. Let me tell you whomever the 3rd party my fridge repair got contracted were extremely hard to get a hold of and unreliable. Ended up getting a refund for original cost and struggling to find a fridge as good as the original. Here’s the catcher geek squad will not replace an open box fridge as an equal trade. They will make you pay the difference and for a new 5 year warranty. They will only replace if the item was bought brand new and the prices of appliances do go up. I took the gift cards to hopefully find a new fridge or wait for the original one to go on sale.

    Bought a stainless steel oven with protection plan. Hoping its not needed one day, oven works great, accuracy on temperature are great, bakes fast n thoroughly.

    So far I found that the app that controls the fridge is interesting with data and control features, energy saving settings and updating the fridge itself software and more. Legs on fridge are for leveling the doors with each other, not for leveling the fridge. I found that the water dispensed does not get very cold unless you turn down the temperature of the fridge itself and the water is not cold for very long compared to my last fridge. Not so sure I like the doors going up higher than the rest of the fridge because it makes it harder to store things on top of the fridge. The back tilt of the frige seems like a lot is part of the self-closing door feature. Inside door controller for fridge doesn't stay popped in on one end not sure if this is a flaw from the manufacturer but the one on display at Best Buy wasn't like this.

    Appointment scheduling needs to improve

    The agent was professional and knowledgeable. But the call center need to improve. My appointment got rescheduled twice. The second one they only gave me 7a to 7p window. I called several times to get the narrow 4 hour window, they chorister give me an anwer, they also confirm that the tech will be there. Nobody showed. It was a weekday. Meaning, we the customers have jobs too. This is so disrespectful and bad customer service. The way appointments are set up needs updating.

    Bought this fridge to replace our last KitchenAid fridge which lasted us 16 years. This was closest in design to our last fridge but for some reason came with less shelves on the fridge and freezer sides. Additional shelves must be purchased separately when the older models came with all the shelves which is ridiculous as there are clearly grooves for the missing shelves. Also the ice maker in the freezer is obnoxiously loud when making ice. Our prior fridge was never this loud. Overall the fridge is ok but we much prefer the older model. Picked KitchenAid since our last one gave us 16 years. Hopefully this one has a long life as well.

    So far they're fixing it when they need to. Don't know about the reimbursement of the foods. Foliage won't know until after I submit it, but so far satisfactory unfortunately they have canceled so I've been able to use my freezer too much more refrigerator, so we'll have to see how the food spoilage reimbursement comes about

    Love the new fridge. It's gonna take a while to get used to as it replaced a built in sub zero all refrigetator. The bottles in the left side door rattle when the door closes. Ot looks great in my kitchen and the capacity is perfect. It's nice to have water at your fingertips. The ice maker is a nice feature. My sub zero was 29 years old and did not have any features. Just all refrigerator - no water or ice.

    I really love the size it holds a lot of food, but not so large it cant be easily stored. I would have given it 5 stars but this is my second one as the first one lasted 1 year and 2 months. They had a close out deal and i did buy the extended warranty this time. First issue with any insignia purchased appliance.

    I am extremely pleased with my new refrigerator. The storage capacity is excellent and it fits perfectly with my needs. I love the interior layout, which allows me to organize food efficiently and easily accessible. Additionally, the modern and stylish design perfectly complements my kitchen.     The store needs to do a better job in regard to the store warranty coverage. Had an issue with our fridge not being level. I called and was told that I needed to contact the manufacturer because the fridge was under warranty with them. The manufacturer sent out a repair man and he told me that it was the delivery men's responsibility to level the fridge and I should have called Best Buy. Be careful buying extended warranties from Best Buy because the coverage for the fridge overlapped with the first year of coverage from the manufacturer.

    Replaced my almost 3 year-old LG fridge at no char

    I was certainly glad I had this coverage when my 2020 fridge began repeatedly failing after two years. In the end, after many, many frustrating phone calls, service visits and a difficult period dealing with Best Buy, their insurer, AIG, and the most difficult partner--LG-- I was given the full cost of my LG fridge to apply toward any available fridge at Best Buy. I was able to buy a great fridge, a new 5-year extended warranty, pick-up and installation and still have about $75.00 remaining, which was given to me as a gift card. The process was not easy but it worked and I know have a new fridge that I'm very happy with. The most frustrating part was dealing with world-wide call centers. Everyone was helpful but there was lots of dropped calls and inaccurate info.

    Today's Appliances are Engineered to Break Sooner

    We purchased the five year warranty and hope we do not ever need to use it, however the quality of appliances made today are not what they used to be. From TV's, Washers, Dryers, Stoves and Refrigerators, etc..., even when paying more for what is supposed to be better quality with supporting reviews, these appliances and more have all required some repairs within months of delicate ownership use. Even if you are very handy enough to do your own repairs, I recommend doing thorough Internet and You Tube research to learn of the various possible problems before hand.

    Considering the previous Deep Freezer we had stopped working a little over two years, we had to purchase protection for the new one. We decided to go for the protection this time because it is cost effective.

    Last people who installed our refrigerator were AMAZING! Watch them Best Buy needs to make sure hire the right people we had really BAD experience with people installing our refrigerator. We had to almost change the same refrigerator 4 times because of their neglect installers. They even damaged our wooden floors. It was really a nightmare but Best Buy stepped up and made right! Such a good relief. Btw our refrigerator is the best, we loved it!

    Service is fast however not sure they are really up on appliance repair,they were here 3 times to fix the door on me refrigerator and it still isnt fixed.
