    Frustration and Noise

    I recently purchased a Whirlpool washer, expecting a seamless laundry experience, but was sorely disappointed. Right from the start, leveling the machine proved to be a Herculean task. The feet adjustments are so finicky that achieving a stable foundation feels nearly impossible. This instability has led to an intolerably loud operation. Each cycle is accompanied by such a cacophony that it reverberates throughout the house, disrupting the peace. Furthermore, the vibrations are so severe that the machine practically dances across the floor. The promise of Whirlpool's quality and efficiency was completely unmet, leaving me with regret over my purchase. This product has been a letdown in terms of both functionality and user-friendliness.

    Love LG Products

    I love the LG appliances. A couple of things to think about with this product, First,I am 5'4 and I cannot reach to the bottom of the drum to remove all the clothes, I have to use a stool to reach the bottom. second, I have had this product for about 6months and it is leaking from the bottom.

    I am not sure what to think about this protection. I have purchased it twice and needed it twice, but there is no prorating. Once the dryer is replaced, you need a new Protection agreement. I was six months in on a new replacement dryer. I am electing not to purchase this protection again. I will just get the unit repaired under warranty or replace at Home Depot.

    Bad Customer Service on Installation

    Wish installers had been better trained on Customer Service. It would have made the installation experience more pleasant. One instance installer kept telling me "No" including telling me not to ask so many questions, they had to get on to other jobs. I said in my business we never say "No" we try to make things work. His reply, "I wouldn't work for you."

    We had a washer explode and then had to wait three weeks to get a new one even though we had this warranty. We kept getting the run around from Best Buy. Also when you get a new replacement item the protection plan is over even though it's supposed to be for five years.

    Only 1 of 3 Geek Squad repairmen was competent

    Agent on phone, ordered the wrong parts. Waited 3 weeks for the parts, but 1st Repairman couldn't fix my range because the parts were wrong He ordered more parts & i waited another 3 weeks, but they weren't the right parts so 2nd Repairman ( who was good) couldn't fix it, but he did order the correct parts. He expedited the 3 week wait, so i could get the range fixed in 1 week& the good Repairman fixed it. It took 7 weeks for Geek Squad to do their job.

    Works fine most the time

    We’ve had a lot of issues with it and leaking since we got it, which was 4 years back. We’ve had different techs look at it, one part replaced which was not the fix. It ran great besides that and the leak was random and runs quiet. It’s being exchanged for a different unit. Best Buy has been very helpful with that.

    Protection plan purchase

    When I purchased my appliances I was told that I had two weeks after the delivery date to purchase the protection plan. I went into the store to make the purchase and I was told by the CSR that it wasn't possible because two had past from the date of purchase. She then asked the Department Manager what could be done, he told her to give me an 800 number and they could help me. Once she ran the info again, she was able to complete the transaction. Then stated to me, "I knew you were telling the truth. But my computer isn't acting right!" On another note, I love my new washer and dryer! The young lady that assisted me with the initial purchase was great, but the second lady that I purchased the protection plan from was definitely not my favorite.

    I highly recommend that you check to see if the local Geek Squad has people on staff to do repairs for the item you are purchasing. If not, your product will still be covered but you’ll have to wait for insurance company used for this service to find and negotiate service for your product before repairs are made. We’re on our fifth repair for a product and so far have waited a week and a half to schedule the repair. From my check earlier this week it will be at least next week before that might happen.

    Service repairs take a while but worth the cost. When it came to the replacement it was a big run around. Wasted a lot of my time on phone calls that just kept getting transferred.

    So, the five year plan is actually a FOUR year plan because I am required to utilize the manufacturer warranty within the first year. This was not explicitly stated when I purchased the protection plan and is quite frustrating because Best Buy sells you a five year plan not a four year plus manufacturer warranty plan.

    Tech Jeff was amazing super friendly very knowledgeable . Call center people I’d rather not have to call them ever again. What should have been an easy fix took multiple calls and hours on the phone to get a resolution acceptable to me as a paying customer with a new purchase

    Did not need to purchase the Geek Squad protection plan so I returned it back to the store and got a refund. I have been personally called a really big Geek for over forty years now. With that being said and my peers letting me know that I am the biggest Geek that they have ever known for such a long time now, I know that I am completely capable of fixing anything that might cause a problem with the computer electronics on the washing machine should it fail. Can't be much different from the computer controlled French fry machine that I operate at my work where I am King. Burger King that is.

    I was told by some reps that I talked to that I would get some kind of paperwork. All I got was a receipt and no paperwork. The geek squad behind the counter told the clerk that is all I needed. I would like some kind of documents stating what is and what is not covered. Not really crazy on how the whole thing happened.
