Bought this movie because this is a type of movie I like. Watched it with my Parents and boyfriend and the Guys sure seemed to love this movie. Me, personally, I would have liked to have seen a bit more action in the movie? I don't know? It is missing something, but overall still a good movie. I still like to watch it.

This movie is great in many ways. The First is obviously the eye catching manner in which it is filmed (like the first 300 yet different). The graphics are amazing, and the acting is riveting, especially Sullivan Stapelton, and Eva Green! The second great thing is how this movie tells the untold portion of the original movie 300. It answers many questions, and actually meshes with the first movies content in this film! I hope this is not the end to the saga! This is one sequal that rivals the original.

A good movie that fills in the blanks from the first one, A classic good versus evil movie. would've gave five stars but a couple things were kind of off. The horse seen on the ships was kind of unrealistic and where is all the blood, like the first movie everyone gets dirty but, no one gets blood on them

As stated, you get all the information leading up to the 300, during the 300 and after the 300 movie as this is the telling where all of Greece gets united and not just Sparta. Same great special effects with plenty of blood splatter along with a bit of graphic nudity. Plenty of nonstop action and testosterone for all.

I recommend it for anyone that enjoyed the first 300 movie. However, I do warn that I didn't feel it was nearly as good as the first movie. The stylized fighting and renditions were much better in the original 300. However, IMO, Eva really has a stellar performance in this one, which made it worthwhile altogether.

This is a great movie if you they make a 3rd installment of the film. If they don't than there was no reason to make this movie in the first place. You need to go into it with an open mind. This does not complete the story , but it definitely adds to what could be an amazing ending if they finish what they began

I love how all the new titles are available @ best buy & most of the time @ a better price than Walmart!!!! Not only are the titles released ontime, but they're competitively priced & I get best buy points for buying , it's a win win win when I buy @ best buy. & for the new rise of the 300, what's not to love on my 60" sharp LED I purchased from you guys a year 1/2 ago & still looking as pretty & functioning as flawlessly as they day I took it out of the box!!! THANK YOU BEST BUY!!!

Despite the fact that this film is not entirely historically accurate and could have been a little longer if it was, the cinematography was excellent as well as the Blu-Ray extras. One of the extra features on this Blu-Ray explains some of the inaccurate parts, but there were more. Overall it was worth a look.

I like the fact that this movie is running concurrent with the previously released 300. You are at times wondering who will get the upper hand, how closely will the movie line up with what we learned about History? Well I won't spoil it for you if you haven't seen it already. Definitely worth a watch. Enjoy

Having enjoyed the first 300, I was was excited to watch the 2nd. I waited till it was on Blue Ray until I decided to see it. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't as good as the first one. They tried their best, Eva Green was great addition to the cast, and it kept me entertained. This is one for the collection.

This is a good movie considering how long it took them to release a sequel to the original one. The original is better but this one is still pretty good. It would have done better if they released it right after the first one. But this is a recommendation for anyone who did enjoy the first one.

This was an amazing movie in most areas. Of course I think everyone would've wanted to more of the original group but that's ok. The only thing I didn't like is the plot is exactly like the last movie, only on water. Acting was great, graphics were amazing and the cinematography is second to none.

I like this movie, but not as much as the original 300. The blood needs to toned down some. Sometimes less is more and would make a better experience if it was toned down to a more realistic effect instead of a video game experience. Overall though it was fun to watch and the 3D was rendered well.

I loved the first movie and this was a good continuation of the story. Some background to the past made it easy to follow. Camera work was awesome and I loved some of the fight seens. If you like the first movie then this one kept you going though out the whole movie. One to watch again and again.

I thought this movie was a great follow up to 300. I loved that they moved the fighting from land to water. That added new fighting scenes. Eva Green is great, she makes the movie. Her character is so well written and she plays it so well, I don't even care that she is suppose to be the bad guy.

I enjoyed this movie way more then I thought I would. It was not what I thought it was going to be in that the story was about the events that lead up to the first movie (300) and then went into what was going on during and after the first movie. I love movies that explore another perspective.

Having loved the first installment, I wasn't sure what to expect with this sequel but I was pleasantly surprised. The acting was better than expected, the action and effects were as good as it gets as was the soundtrack. If you have a quality theatre system you are in for a great experience.

The story line was not as interesting than the first one, plus this version had more humor than needed, and I wish the soldier that was sent back to tell the king's wife had a part in this one than the other character. Still a must buy if you like gladiator type of movies.

The movie was interesting and entertaining. It gives you an appreciation for how battles were fought and the strategies used. Some battle scenes were enhanced to give the fighters super human qualities. They were good but not that good. It was historically close but not completely correct.
