This movie is the more realistic version of the actual battle that the Spartans fought against the Persians. Although the script sometimes seems darted, it is a great movie overall.

The 300 Spartans was good

This was about the 480 B.C. battle of Thermopylae, which allowed the European civilization to be democratic. Although all of the Greeks died, the following naval Battle of Salamis, Battle of Plataea, and naval Battle of Mycale ended the Persian war.

Classic movie with mediocre acting. Looks to have been a pretty low budget movie for its time. Acting was average at best.

i loved 300 and i saw this movie not to long after i saw 300. it is not as gory as 300. the story is great over all and for its age it is a good movie. i enjoyed it but i prefer newer movies over old movies. if you dont know the story of 300, it is basically a historical event in which 300 soldiers held of a massive army from invasion. i wont give to much detail but it is a good story. definatly worth watching.
