Not the best 4K transfer, it has a lot of grain and HDR is used to a certain degree, highlights tend to no be overblown at certain times. The audio sounds phenomenal, even if you have a sound bar that isn’t Dolby Atmos, you will still be able to notice a difference. This steel book is very nice looking and inside artwork is not bad at all, I just wish the price was cheaper, maybe 24.99. Overall wait for a piece discount before spending the full 35.00 I did for this steel book, you’ll be glad you did.

I owned the blu ray when it came out and was disappointed with the sound mix. But this time around with the addition of the Dolby Atmos mix, All I can say is that it’s incredible! The 4K is also great and definitely an upgrade over the Blu Ray version but the real showcase is the Dolby Atmos sound. A must have to show off your Atmos Surround system!

This is a great transfer! Even with it being a 4k upscale. The new Dolby Atmos soundtrack really makes a difference (especially the arrows overhead scene!) There is ALOT of film grain, but it is intentional, and really makes it stand out as a unique and well filmed movie. I highly recommend for any fan. It is worth the money for the upgrade if you already have it on Blu-ray. You will not be disappointed!

For those who aren't squeamish about graphic violence and bloodshed, this is a terrific action-packed portrayal about how passion, determination, and single-mindedness of a group of people trump 'might', regardless of the outcome of the final conflict. Personally, this film had several features that resonated with me, and characteristics I look for in films like this: strong contrast between hero and villain, enough historical accuracy to get a sense of the actual events (the Battle of Thermopylae as narrated in Herodotus' "The Histories"), and some insight into the characteristics that embody a hero we'd like to emulate (well, without the bloodshed). I always try to find films with strong, passionate heroes who have to overcome impossible odds - and this one didn't disappoint in that respect.

Zack Snyder's masterwork of violent, visual splendor, '300,' is finally available in 4K! You may not notice a huge uptick in resolution here from the blu-ray but the incredible HDR work that 4K UHD is capable of creates deep, inky shadows with much better contrast and beautifully saturated colors that make this the definitive release. Gorgeous SteelBook artwork as well.

This movie is the most BROGASMIC movie one can ever see. I avoided seeing this movie for 12 years because the clips made it look so cheesy and boy was I right. My first introduction to the Spartans and the Battle of Thermopylae was from the book "The Gates of Fire" and I really enjoyed the story of the battle and the second Persian invasion of Greece.

This steelbook version of the film 300 is a good collectible item to have on the shelf if you like both the works of Zack Snyder and Frank Miller. It features very nice front and back art on the outside, but again, like many other previous Warner Brothers steelbook releases, does not have inside arts, but nevertheless it's an opportunity to customize it. I purchased this steelbook on sale for $9.99 even I already have the regular dvd and bluray releases, don't hesitate to get it if anyone likes 300 the film.

300 Was not originally shot on Film that translates well to HD or UHD, so you will notice some grain in scenes that obviously used a green screen. However, the UHD and Dolby Vision do bring out the color palette that Zack Snyder used, which was wonderful and in the spirit of the comic. The best feature of this UHD update for this movie is the Dolby ATMOS sound. If you have a home theater capable of taking advantage of this track you will love it.

I've always liked this movie, just never "loved" it. It's too hyper-realistic, and I don't care for that style for this movie. I bought this because of the gorgeous steelbook, and I wanted to see the improvement of 4K over my old dvd copy. It looks and sounds phenomenal. Still not one of my favorites though.

At this point, just about everyone has heard about this film. Be aware of what you're watching. If you like gritty, realistic looking films, you won't enjoy this. The first time I saw this movie, I didn't care much for it. While it follows the story of Thermopylae, it didn't portray a realistic version of history. Everything looked overdone, fake, and over-dramatized. But if you think about it from the standpoint of a Greek historian or soldier describing the events to a group, he might embellish to the point that the imagination of the hearer would conjur the images presented in this film. Taking that approach, I enjoy this film immensely

The 4K video transfer is a good margin of improvement from the 1080p version but where it shines is the Dolby Atmos mix. It’s an extreme improvement in the sound department. Then it’s the beautiful Steelbook itself. Matte finish with really nice and subtle artwork outside and in. Highly recommended!!

This is a very entertaining movie. We all know that. However, is the upgrade to 4K worth it? The answer is yes. The upgrade to Atmos is worth the upgrade alone, but the video upgrade is very nicely done as well....and of course it is a cool looking steelbook if you are a collector.

Say what you want about Zack Snyder And this being a “bro” movie. I don’t care. It’s amazing and fun and gory and glorious. And my goodness does 4K benefit this movies Visual style it’s insane. Incredible. Not to mention the steelbook is as epic as the movie itself. So happy

This movie is excellent. It was a joy to watch. The steel book is truly a collector’s item. The 4K processing and Dolby Vision really are an upgrade over the Blu-ray. If you loved the movie this is definitely one you should add to your collection. You will not be disappointed.

If you haven't seen this by now, have you been living under a rock!? Go out to best buy and get it NOW! This Is a high paced summer blockbuster! Fast action, amazing effects, good story. Based off a graphic novel. You need to see this! If your lucky you can still find this in steel at your local best buy, if you can't well it's cheap enough on its own to pick up! Then pick up the 2nd one at best buy as well

I already owned it on dvd, but need to have blu ray copy because upscaling twice makes it look cheap. I mean after my player upscales it to 1080p and then my 4k tv tries to upscale it, just looks like soap opera like after that. Nothing more needed to be said about the movie, its awesome. If your guy that loves a good a action flick, then it's a must have for the collection.

One of those " different " types of movies. The CGI is off the meter on this one , but the effects are seemless. Based on a true legend of the Spartans, it shows a glimpse into the life and philosophy and traditions of a proud warrior and his men . The Spirit that is fearless from youth guides this small army into battle against legions of fighters. Gerard Butler at his best.

Really enjoy this movie. Zack Snyder is an amazing director bringing Frank Miller's vision to life. 4k transfer is sleek compared to my dvd version. Steelbook art is always a plus adding more character to the box art collector. The sound will blow you away!

Steelbook - Pretty cool Steelbook, came with no damages. Movie - By now you should have seen it, but in short this movie is good action movie with some good acting and action. Not the best but definitely worth a watch. 8/10 Video/Audio - Worth the upgrade as the video and audio both a upgrade. The Atmos mix alone makes this must own or must watch.

What is there to say, Everyone has seen the movie before, its a great film, I just had to pick it up because I collect steenboks and eventually down the road, I'll have to buy a new tv cause mine is old now and it will have to be a 4K tv.
