James Mangold’s 3:10 to Yuma is a rare case of the Western remake that is better than the original on every level. The performances from Russell Crowe and Christian Bale are outstanding, as well as Peter Fonda and Ben Foster. The action sequences are great, especially because they are filmed on-location and use practical effects. The story and characters are in many ways improved. And with the 4K release, it looks better than ever (I used to own the DVD, and the image is definitely sharper). I did experience a slight hiccup on the 4K, but those discs sometimes do that. If you loved the movie already, this 4K Steelbook is a must-own!

Been meaning to watch this, not a bad film, not the best western I've ever seen either, somewhere in the middle

The steelbook (and it's matching slip cover, so don't throw it away!) are amazingly beautiful and packaged perfectly, not a single dent in the steelbook even! The movie itself is amazingly good. Russell Crowe, Christian Bale, and Ben Foster are wonderful at their craft! They bring their character roles to the forefront and make you feel for them and their stuggles. One of my top favorite western genre films!

I'm really enjoy these 4K steelbook presentations from Lionsgate... They are smartly designed with the plastic slipcase working together with the artwork on the steelbook to offer a unique presentation. The artwork for this is gorgeous and there's actually two pieces of artwork, one for the exterior of the steelbook and another piece of art used inside. Special features are carried over from the previous BD release.

Remakes are more often than not inferior to the original. I won’t say this surpasses the original but this is a well done western that at least lives up to the original. Solid action, solid cast, all packaged in a solid (steel) case ;) The design of the slipcase does a wonderful job evoking the mood, atmosphere, and even tone of the film. Fully worth the upgrade if you like/want this movie!

look, i've seen this movie before, actually I rented back when it first came out. I like my fair share of cowboy movies, and I have my favorites. So, when I saw this coming out, I was like oh yeah, lets check it out. I watched it and to "me" it was lack luster, too much hollywood glamor. After that, it made me curious about the original movie thats in black and white. I bought the original and it was outstanding. Jumping forward to buying this steelbook, I figured maybe the film would hit me differently since its release and I could like it. Well, no dice, its just the same as it was when i saw it the first time. Didn't hold my attention and kinda boring.

4K steel book 3:10 to Yuma movie is a great western. I have not watched this movie for some time. When the 4K steel book version came out I grabbed it. Watched it and immediately noticed how good the picture quality was!! It really made the movie very enjoyable to watch. Highly recommended

One of the great westerns of the 00s gets a decent transfer and an effective sound mix on UHD. The packaging (which is what most will be rebuying this for) is a beautiful, well thought out steelbook. Lionsgate is to be commended for utilizing the plastic sheaths with their steelbooks.

If you are a fan of this movie and are buying it for the purpose that you like the look of the product it’s a must have. It’s sharp looking and really pops. It is also a fantastic movie that I would recommend to anyone who likes westerns or action.
