3:10 to Yuma is a classic Western starring Glen Ford. And this remake you have two great stars Christopher Nolan, and starring as the bad guy is Russell Crowe. Christopher Nolan's character is a simple farmer whose cattle gets rustled by Russell Crowe. No one's character is hard to escort Crow to town to catch the 310 to the prison cold Yuma. One thing I can honestly say maybe they used graphics to enhance Russell pistol if they didn't it's one of the fastest draws I've seen. Overall this is another classic Western I've seen both I like the new version better than the old 50s classic.

Must have in western collection. Lots of action. Blu ray quality is good.

As far as remakes go I think this is way better than the original

Let me start off with, what a great movie. 3:10 to Yuma has an amazing powerful story, with strong actors who pull you into the old west. I don't want to give away any part of the story, so let's jump to other parts. Visuals, 3:10 to Yuma has always been a let down on dvd and even bluray, so i was hoping for a great experience on 4K and it didn't disappoint. Crisp clean sharp and full of life, the picture jumps off the screen. Audio: with gunshots to horses neighing to the hoof claps, the explosions, all helping make for a better experience. I highly recommend purchasing.

Through countless attempts to bring back the magic once afforded in the golden age of Hollywood Westerns, I have sat unconvinced that these contemporary directors understood the nuance employed by those that came before them. Having now seen the remake to 3:10 to Yuma, I can safely say my faith is temporarily restored. Forgoing senseless action in favor of a well-paced, unforgiving story, we are but mere passengers to a father's desperate bid to raise his son right in world ruled by bad men.

3:10 to Yuma isn't only the best western in recent memory, it is also the best remake since Cronenberg's The Fly. This is proof that James Mangold was the perfect choice for an R-rated Marvel movie such as Logan because this movie is amazing and the chemistry between Russell Crowe and Christian Bale was incredible. Without a doubt (with the exceptions of True Grit, Django Unchained, & The Hateful Eight) this is the best western since Clint Eastwood's Unforgiven.

The dynamic story of bad guy played by Russell Crowe who meets good buy Christian Bale. As the group of lawmen attempt to take Crowe to meet the 3:10 train to Yuma prison, the story for both men unfolds and intertwines. This movie is one of the great westerns which is hard to find in this age of comic book hero movies. A definite keeper along with Silverado for my western collection.

When I got to the end of this movie I said to myself "dang, that was a good movie!" That doesn't happen often. I can't think of one thing I would change about this. It's a very good story told very well. The cast is all good, and everything looks just right. Well done. This is now on my short list of all-time favorite movies.

now anyone who knows me already knows i am not a huge fan of westerns, but this is a true exception. i have been a huge fan of christian bale since batman and russell crowe since forever, and bringing them both into this classic james mangold film adds up to nothing but a kickin success. i now have a new respect for westerns

This is one of my favorite western movies and features of exceptional Oscar caliber performances by all of the leads and supporting cast all around. I had to buy it in 4K because the movie is just fantastic and I have watched it so many times. Terrific action, a great story, and an easy to follow plot. One of the best!

I never cared for modern day westerns, but I must say this was a very well made western. The acting was great. Crowe and Bale were just great. I would highly recommend this move if you are a western fan. You won’t be disappointed.

Saw this before the wide release in the US. AWESOME MOVIE! Russell Crowe and Christian Bale led an extraordinary cast in the film that screamed to be remade better. The blu-ray does a great job of capturing that first experience I had in the theatre. A must own.

Nothing outstanding here, but the audio and video are pretty good. I’d say the audio is a little bit better than video, especially the Gatling gun scene. Video level is pretty good except for some low light scenes, the black levels aren’t that great.

Technically a remake, this film holds its own and helped to re-introduce audiences to the western. Good cast and a good story that doesn't lose the raw feel of the "wild west". Recommended to western fans everywhere and anyone who enjoys character drama amid entertaining gunplay.

It was an ok movie. I love westerns but felt it could've been better

Owned this on Blu ray for a few years. Love this film. Wonderful cast, lots of action. Russell Crowe always stellar. Logan Lerman stands out, at such a young age. No spoilers here. 4K UHD worth the purchase for the Atmos track alone. Priced right at $14.99.

This a remake of the 1957 Film featuring Glenn Ford and Van Heflin. Russell Crowe & Christian Bale are perfect for the parts that they played ... A Bad Guy against the Good Guy Storyline. I would categorize this as a Classic Western as well!

Although I haven't seen the original this remake is phenomenal! Crowe and Bale are exceptional actors that make you believe they are the actual characters they play! I have to admit there are slow moving parts in it as all good westerns have but it's still worth 5 stars.
