This is an upgrade of this same concert from standard DVD to Blue Ray. I watched it on my new system on the 10th anniversary date of the concert filmed 10/25/2009. The Blue Ray Video is better than the DVD video but not as much of an improvement as you might expect. It is better but it is not 4K UHD video quality. The audio is better especially using the DTS HD Master audio. If your system supports DTS HD Master audio take full advantage of this near lossless audio format. The Blue Ray was worth the cost to upgrade from old DVD format. The concert was great good enough to buy it twice. If you are a U2 fan and like live music video's I would highly recommend this concert.

The highest grossing tour and the tallest stage ever built. This is a must have for any U2 fans, some nice extras included too

Quality sound and picture, some reviews complained about the intense camara shots. If you grew up watching MTV will not be turned off by it.

i'm usually a "gotta be there" person, but after the vertigo i suffered during the 'vertigo' tour, i opted out. but, man, what a show?! u2 has always been the band to push the bar, and they've done it again! the film shots of the stage and the band are amazing - and steady, not like someone ran around with his handycam. the colors are brilliant and vibrant, the shots raw without being grainy, and the intimacy is palpable - even in a venue as large as the rose bowl. the fact remains that u2 is a band that easily and instantly forms a bond with its audience; they are entertainment with a cause. this concert brought into focus the leader of burma, who since coming to power in 1991 has been under house arrest for most of that time. the moments they spent with the issue made the evening more poignant rather than detracting from the overall concert experience. as usual, their stagecraft was amazing! the lighting was top notch as well, allowing for shadows to blend with intense color shots, and softened tones to add to the music. the sound levels remained constant, no wavering between highs and lows, just good strong music all the way through. there is a moment where the camera angle from the floating hands-free mike made me wince - bono swung it out over the audience and my stomach just lurched. not something you would get to experience outside the video, huh? in all, i thought it was one of the best made concert productions i've seen.

Bad Camera Angles, But Great Show

Unfortunately I think the camera angles were not done well in this, but outside of that U2 proves to still know how to rock the world.

    Unusually sub-par U2 video

I attended this show at the Rose Bowl, but like most people there we sat far away. So I was really looking forward to this DVD. I am giving it a two because the DTS audio is a superb 5, but the video quality is a minus 1. Do NOT pay extra money for Blu-ray. The video quality is about the same as a VHS tape from the 80's. I have no clue what U2 was thinking but the video is dark, grainy, and with such quick edits that it makes you dizzy. Not only that the powerful opening song "Breathe" is not part of the concert, but included separately in the bonus materials. What's up with that? A huge misstep by U2.

The U2 360 tour was one of the Irish rocker's best, which is saying quite a bit. The rose bowl show was both amazing to see live as well as on blu-ray. The cinematography captured energy that emanated from the crowd. I would highly recommend adding this to any U2 fan's collection

Now I want to have every single one of the DVD's that I own from U2 concerts in BD at least in the same way this one was produced, get goosebumps every time I watch it.

Great stage production and tunes. Can watch it many times. I have all of the U2 DVDs and this one is the best. The blu ray version is even better.

    Poor Quality for Blu-Ray

The Quality of the video may work for DVD, but its unacceptable and hard to watch if youre using a 1080p on a 47" LCD... The Sound is good. The video is edited and is not the identical, candid version you may have witnessed on the YouTube broadcast.
