I caught this on sale. So for the lower price I would buy it again. I think with the stabilizer and case it's a good value for the money.

Took it for two flights. Really worked great, then lost communication from controller to drone. Tech support had me tare it all apart to do a hard reset. Had to take out the SD cards out of both the controller and the drone. Which did not solve the issue. Returned unit to store for refund. Maybe just a bad unit for me. but read that others are having the same problem. I would not recommend this brand

Not so good on windy conditions and you still have to add go pro on top of your purchase. Overall good price to performance ratio.

I thought for the price it was going to be a good drone. It looks nice and has a backpack to carry everything in. But the batt time is a joke, only got 8 min flight time and that was mostly hovering. I wouldn't buy this. I returned it

First off, I wanted to start out by saying that I rarely, if not ever, write reviews. But I felt that this deserved my time to write one, so here it is! This drone is definitely an amazing piece of engineering. It does everything it says it will do, and more. All of the smart shots work flawlessly and the footage that comes from it looks amazing. But you will need to know what you are doing with the camera settings and in post processing of the footage to achieve perfect results. Sure it doesn't come with obstacle avoidance, but there's one thing I can say towards that - don't be foolish and run your drone into stuff. Look, this is the first drone that came out with "smart shots." It took them several years to do it, and they perfected it. Shortly after, other companies began to attempt at replicating it, but according to some reports, seemed to have done a poor job. So do yourself a favor and take advantage of this amazing machine. The only unfortunate part is that 3DR has moved away from the consumer side of things, which is the reason for the crazy sales, but they are claiming to still offer support for us. Which is plenty for me. Besides, technology advances so quickly, by the time you'd probably lose out on support anywhere else, you'd be due for another drone anyhow. So don't focus on the nonsense and focus on what really matters.

I bought the 3dr solo drone after reading several reviews and watching the videos. For the price I went ahead and took a chance. I'm so glad I did. It does everything it said it would. What really sold me was the representative at Best Buy in Menifee.Gerald ask me if I wanted to see the drone and he pulled out his own personal drone and flew it for me and my wife. I was sold. One year ago this drone would have cost over a $1000.00. This is my first drone and it is so easy to fly. Thanks Gerald for helping me pick out a great drone for a low price.

WOW, UNBELIEVABLE PRICE FOR SUCH AN ADVANCED DRONE, MORE FEATURE THAN EXPECTED, PERFORMS FLAWLESSLY

I cam from a Phantom 3 advanced, and i have to say this does not have the range of any DJI drone but who need to go a mile away to take video? This drone had some features that the Phantom 3 does not, like orbit, follow me AND look at me, you can set routes for the Solo to follow (I don't recall if Phantom 3 had that) I believe this was a great purchase at the price point of 299.99, I don't think i would pay more than that for this drone.
