    Flew mine for the first time today. It flew perfectly in light winds. Can't beat this drone for the price. Just ordered a GoPro for it.

    Bought two of them. This is a drone for the beginner and the experienced. The experienced will probably get the most of it. Will recommend upgrading the GPS to ublox M8N. Remember the programming of this drone is based on open source software/hardware. So there is a lot you can do with it even if you don't have support from 3DR. The price is great. Nonetheless, I would not buy at regular price. There is a few third party upgrades for this drone. Happy flying!

    The 3dr Solo in my opinion is one of the best drones ever made! It just makes you want to fly it more a more and for the price and accessories Best Buy included you can't go wrong! I've owned several drones P3P, xiro xplorer parrot bebop and the Mavic. The Mavic is the only drone that can't be beat! So don't listen to the ridiculous reviews you read and see the 3dr Solo is top notch!

    I was the owner of DJI phantom 3 standard and phantom 3 4k (WIFI CONNECTION DRONE) Solo drone have similar characteristic of the other 2 drone of DJI. But 3DR Solo cost only $299 and you can use only one camera from gopro3+ to gopro4 black shoot videos in air land and under the sea. This characteristic make 3DR SOLO a # 1 drone for someone who likes to live life without limits like me.

    After hours of attempts and updates and re-installing app. We could not get the Solo and the Controller to connect. I am returning and ordering a new one. I have read all the reviews that quality control was an issue and Company is no longer making these....Still hoping for a good one on the next go around...
