I bought this as a spare for my solo drone. Just in case The one on my drone was easy to install and functions as intended. Great for highly stabilized photos and videos.

A Solo-Gimbal is a "must have" to use the Solo with a GoPro Hero4 camera. If you like a stabilized video there is no way around a Gimbal - this is a mandatory purchase.

The 3dr solo would not be complete with out this gimbal. It makes the shots so easy and smooth. It makes video and pictures easy to control and look professional

This part is necessary to install your hero camera to fly your solo 3dr and see where you are going. I would have loved this part ne cheaper or part of the whole solo 3dr package. I think its a bit pricey for that piece of hardware. But if you want to fly and capture video with your hero camera is a must buy.

this gimbal is very nice add to your drone, very easy to install + u dont need any tool to install it cause it already comes with a two heads screwdriver...just a great thing

If you own the 3dr solo this is a must own. The shots with this are insanely good no matter how crazy you fly it or how crazy the wind is.

Excellent plug and play gimbal. My only complaint is the types of gimbal motors 3dr used. ,the bell housing is flash welded or pressed into the shaft. over time this connection Btwn shaft and housing can loosen leaving you stuck with a limp gimbal.

This unit installed perfectly and worked without error. Video is smooth and Mission Planner controls it very well.

It is a nice addition to your Solo 3DR drone, it is very easy to install and makes your video smooth and nice.

The footage you get will not be usable without the gimbal. It works amazingly well, I've taken the drone up in the air when it was extremely windy and have had no camera shake. This one is a no brainer!

The first gimbal I received was missing a crucial screw that prevented the unit from firmly attaching to the Solo. Best Buy accepted the return and I purchased another from a competitor since it could be delivered same day ;-). That said, I still give this item high remarks because it functions well and provides buttery smooth video for my Hero4 Black. Get the gimbal and toss the standard camera mount that comes with the Solo in a box only to be used in a pinch. Kudos to Best Buy for the painless return.

This gimbal is great, very steady, the gopro easily attaches and detaches from the unit with a breeze.
