Bought this to use my GoPro with my drone and it works perfectly. The only issue I had is with installation and the screws wouldn't go in like they should.

Waited a long time to add this to my Solo! Works Great!

The gimbal gives incredibly stable shots even in bad wind. It gives all the functions you'd expect plus yaw dampening.

This gimbal is great! Without it the videos are way to shaky and it becomes hard to get nice level shots.

The drone isn't worth it without this gimbal. Plus it's now way cheaper than when I bought it. If you don't buy this with the drone then you shouldn't buy the drone yet, you'd be unhappy and you'd think the drone isn't worth it. I love this drone, but it really isn't worth it without this gimbal.

Works well and was quick and simple to install. There are a couple of good videos, including 3DRs own which should be viewed before installation - always a good idea to watch a how to video beforehand. Save the foam block after installation and use it whenever you transport the Solo.

Despite 3DR getting out of the drone business, they left the industry with an amazing piece of technology....the Solo! This is the 3-axis gimbal that is used for the Solo to take video and/or photos. 3DR worked directly with GoPro to make this so you know the quality and design is flawless. Your GoPro 3 or 4 simply sits inside the bay, connected to the USB and you’re ready to go! It’s safe, doesn’t rattle and performs flawlessly. I’ve flown my Solo’s considerably and have over 500 hours of video. In all my video, there is no “jello” effect and I’ve never had an issue with the performatnce. The 3DR Solo Gimbal is an amazing piece of technology that has performed without any issues. Several major movies (13 hours) were filmed with this exact gimbal/drone.

A must have for control of your camera....very smooth!

Although 3DRobotics is out of the drone business, it doesn't mean that they didn't make a great product! Best Buy has the sole distribution of the remaining stock and get it while you can! This gimbal is an absolute requirement for your Solo drone, and the price is unbeatable!

This gimbal take your drone flying experience to another level. The areal shots are awesome

I found the gimble very easy to install and if you don't have one yet, then this is a must have for your 3DR Solo. Works great, just make sure to power on from level ground. I found that I level ground take offs can result in the gimbal/ camera hanging crooked.

Great gimbal delivers smooth crisp video paired with 3dr solo and gopro. Would give 5 stars except there seems to be a bug or glitch that keeps it pointed a little to the left and there's no option to reenter or recalibrate it. Still gives good footage but makes flying by video feed a little more challenging.

A little expensive but increase the quality of the pictures in an 100 percent.

The product itself is great. Unfortunately the drone it’s designed for is garbage. That’s too bad.

The Solo comes with a fixed camera bracket, but changes in the drone's attitude are captured in the recorded video. The Gimbal eliminated the effect of attitude changes. In addition, the Gimbal fits in the carry case that Solo came in. Very handy.

Purchased a Solo without the stabilizer.. Instant regret, this is a must need for smooth crisp video, the smoother the video the sharper the GoPro is able to be. I've been able to capture some great video with this drone and stabilizer attachment.

I have had no problems with this gimbal and the price was great.

Installed gimbal to my second solo. First was pre-installed and worked right away. Found there are little tricks to install but overall very easy to install. Have not flown 2nd solo yet but preliminary tests show it is working perfect
