Gimbal is a must for stable video it works well although you'll need to weight it properly if adding any lens fi,terse to the go pro recommend using double keep sided tabs and nothing metal as it will cause magnetic interference with solo

This gimbal was easy to install. Removed the old camera housing and plugged in and I stalled the gimbal. The footage is extremely smooth and has absolutely no jello effect on the footage. A must have for drone photography/videography

This could be a great drone, but it doesn't work with the Hero 3+ Silver and unless I want to spend another 3-400 on another camera this unit is useless. The design is great and it is a solid machine with real potential, but I'm surprised they didn't think about previous GoPro owners.

I own a Phantom 3 Pro and decided to get this since Best Buy was offering a great bundled price. I got the gimbal at half price and purchased a second one because you never know. The gimbal was easy to install and works great.

I flew the 3dr Solo without the gimbal and my footage was shaky and unwatchable. With the gimbal, i have nice smooth turns and angle. First Gimbal was defective and it took days to figure out it was gimbal but with second gimbal, I have had no problems.

Awesome gimbal perfect for video shooting and still photo..

Am blown away by this gimbal. Have used already for several gigs, and I have not once had to run stabilization in my video editing software. It is super stable, even in windy conditions. Very pleased with it!

The gimbal works perfectly. I have no complaints about it. Docking a star just because 3DR went belly-up. That being said, there's a lot of internet resources for 3DR products out there, so I've had no trouble and got this at a great discount.

I recently purchased another one as backup and have t used it yet but Ky original is amazing. If you own a Solo drone this is a must to have control over your GoPro and get some amazing footage.

This is the gimbal you need to attach a gopro to your 3dr solo. A year ago they were charging hundreds of dollars for these. Since they are going out of the consumer business the stuff is dirt cheap as long as you can still get it.

My son uses this with his drone and GoPro 4. It helps image clarity and video stability. It also allows him to rotate the camera angle instead of the fixed view with the standard drone mount.

I've been impressed with the performance of the 3DR gimbals! These are a steal of a deal, and the footage from the camera comes out very stabilized and smooth. Very happy with this purchase.

This is an excellent product and an amazing value at $39. The GoPro camera snaps right in and works seamlessly with the 3DR drone/controller/app to control, view, and power the camera.

The gimbal works fine for the most part. Occasionally I get a message that the gimbal can't be found (even though it is still attached). 3DR has a bit of misleading information out too. While the gimabl 'works' with GoPro 3, 3+ and 4's it doesn't actually work with all of them. The gimbal can control the GoPro 3+ Black and 4's (change settings, start/stop video, etc). The gimbal can hold GoPro 3's and GoPro 3+ Silver but can't control anything meaning you have to start recording before you take off and stop recording when you land. On top of that the 3+ Silver only stays on in the gimbal if you downgrade the firmware to v2.0.

This gimbal removes the jello effect found in non stabilizing mounts. Simple to install and even easier to operate. Highly worth the end results for the most stunning aerial videos!

This is a must own for the 3DR Solo Drone. It was easy to install and use. Really makes using my GoPro on it enjoyable. I also got a good deal on it which makes it even better.
