This makes the 3DR solo one of the best drones. With out the Gimbal the Solo is just so so, but with it, the drone is as good or better then any of the drones carried by Best Buy.

I picked this up for the closeout price of $30. At that price, it is a steal. It is a gimbal for the discontinued Solo, and it does a pretty good job of stabilization, but not quite as steady as my DJI gimbals.

This gimbal came with my 3DR Solo as an extra as the Solo already had one mounted on it. It is still in the box and I will have it if I ever need it. The one mounted to my Solo is working without problems.

I have 2 Solos and both of them have this excellent 3 axis gimbal and that 3rd axis is what lets it get really great video even in sub-optimal wind and gust conditions.

At such a great price, I couldn't pass up purchasing a backup gimbal for my 3DR Solo. I've had the Solo for 4 months now and the original gimbal has functioned great.

If you're buying a drone you probably want those smooth, epic aerial shots you see online. The gimbal is a must have if you're flying a drone and want smooth video.

Good gimbal that does its job well. Installing is tricky and you must make sure you have cable placed in the right spot or you will have problems. Definately worth upgrading from standard camera case

Without it....GoPro has less mobility...but pricey

This gimbal came as part of a package deal with the drone and, although it is a little fiddly to install and requires "parking" with foam when in transit, it is required for recording decent video.

its really nice to have some extra especially at a great price. Its really sad to see that 3DR solo has fallen out of favors because GoPro decided to do their own drone. I still believe that its one of the better drone out there. Its good in that I was able to pick up a lot extra accessories like props, batteries, and extra gimbal at about %75 off which makes them a "no brainer" I see now that the prices have started climbing back up again due to depleted stock. As far as quality of build are concern 3DR have always high quality products and all their accessories are the same

Drone was crash, its inevitable. It's a good to have a spare! This gimbal used to run 400 bucks when it's new. It's crazy how cheap you can get it for now.

A must have. I would recommend this to anyone who were on the fence about getting it… I believe if you get it you would be happy with it.

This gimbal enables the use of a GoPro 3 or4 on a 3DR Solo giving it, IMHO, a much better video than some of the pre-installed cameras on other drones.

This is actually a backup gimble in case my existing one has problems. I do aerial photography professionally and couldn't do it without the gimble.

The gimbal mount is totally nessasary if you plan on using your solo 3dr to its maximum potential, the gimbal works flawlessly with me hero4 black.

Recieved my gimbal as a free item with Solo bundle along with extra battery. No complaints being though they are $149.99 if purchased separate.

Those that fly the 3dr solo, understand this is a perfect image stabilizer. And works perfectly with the software and controller for movement.

Very smooth gimbal that gets rid of the shakiness of the gopro 4 black. If you dont own this yet its the best time to buy since its now 149.99
