This is the Gimbal made by 3DR specifically for the Solo. You should consider it a required piece of gear if you want video stability.

Although it might be needless to mention but just for the uninitiated, this is a must buy for the 3DR drone, regardless of whether you are an enthusiast or casual user. It adds perpsective to flying with the drone and definitely expands what you can do with the several possible shot modes and the general flexibility of the gimbal. Note that without this, you are locked down to the standard camera holder and you cannot control the gopro remotely as you may be otherwise able to.

This is a great product and performs amazing shots with the supplied software. At 399 it was over priced. But, at 199 it's got great bang for the buck....

Excellent gimbal once you make sure that the cables do not touch the motors. It takes the Solo to a whole new level.
