Though not a fan of Children of The Damned (never really seen it) and never even hearing of Virus, I was draw to buy this because for a great price i was able to get 2 of my cult classic favorites. The Thing introduced the world to a new kind of special effects when it came out and They Live...Well let's just say, " I came here to chew gum and kick a**, and I'm all out of gum.

First off, John Carpenter's The Thing is just as good (some say better) than the original. And then you get Rowdy Roddy Piper as the guy who says things like "I'm here to kick butt and chew gum and I'm all out of gum." He's got these sun glasses that reveal all the nasty (actually, rich and nasty) aliens who have taken over the country. So he blasts them!! Plus, there's a must see fight scene.

The 3 great sci-fi / horror films in this compilation are "The Thing", "Virus" and "They Live" - all awesome film experiences. "Village of the Damned" not so much, but still worth seeing. See the 1960 version of "Village of the Damned" for a more chilling experience.

Nothing can beat the price! If you are looking to add great movies to your collection - buy this DVD - a perfect solution to figure which film you want to own. "They Live" is phenomenal! "The Thing" is horrifyingly fierce for an 80s movie. Ignore "Virus" (the 4th movie in set).

Not one. Not two..... but four great movies. A must have for alien fans and horros movie buffs. They live is an amazing cult classic and piper does a great job delivering his lines

3 classic John Carpenter films plus the just OK Virus. The Thing is the best of the bunch with incredible special effects from Rick Baker. A good deal at a great price.

You really can't go wrong with this set. The only one I had really seen was The Thing, but I had heard of the others. All 4 movies were great and can't beat the price.

If you love horror genre films and you like John Carpenter then this set of 4 films is the way to go! They Live, The Thing, Children of the Damned, and Virus.

Great alien selection of movies, hardly moved from my seat. I just love the 4 pack dvds, good movies at a great price.Aliens all around, all you can see!

Great option for a sci-fi night. Both remakes were well made and I can never pass up a Roddy Piper movie....and I'm all out of bubble gum.

It is a classic. They live is why I bought the product. It was nice to get the other movies with it but everybody needs to see they live,

These movies are great.i love having the set and being able to watch them anytime I want and either friends who have never seen it before

I only bought the movie for The Thing. That is a good movie but not sure about the rest, I guess I will find out soon

This set is worth getting at its price just for The Thing alone, and it's slightly better since it has some of Carpenters other work.

I had seen two of these movies before awesome. And the other two movies i had newly watched and i found them interesting. Great buy

John Carpenter had some very good movies and some total bombs. The Thing is good and worth watching, the rest not so much. You may like to see Mark Hamill from Star Wars as a minister in Village of the Damned or some of the other actors and actresses in these early roles. Even though the other films may not be his top work, just The Thing is enough to buy the set.

Four good films for great price. 3 classic john carpenter films and one more enjoyable film

I bought this for the copy of "They live". Now I know that the other movies are good too.

Hard to believe i got 4 great movies at a low price and on one disc. Pretty awesome movie night.
