Affordable multi port HDMI if your tv only comes with one

Went to Best Buy looking for a receiver to plug all of my components into and to operate through. The salesman asked if we were hooking speakers up to it (it was going in a bedroom), so we said no. He recommended the rocketfish as a cheaper solution. We purchased it instead of a receiver based on his recommendation. It was easy to install and worked with one problem. When you turn the TV on your screen will come up black rather than the last component you were using. In order to get it to the component you would like to use, you must select another input and then come back to the one you want. It's not a big deal but is an inconvenience. For that reason I would not purchase this product or reccomend it to anyone.

For the price, this unit does the trick. If you have a television with limited HDMI inputs, is a good buy. I would prefer a unit that autodetected which input was actually sending a signal, but the unit did come with a remote control, so I can't really complain about it. It is effective.

Easy to setup and use and The price was affordable

If your TV only comes with one or two HDMI jacks, this item is a must-have! Easy to install and a breeze to use. It allows you to link up to four HDMI jacks. Great if you have a DVR, Blu-Ray player, and another HD compatible device, such as an Apple TV or a gaming system. Highly recommend.
