    Got this for my mother in laws tv which only had 1 hdmi port and needed additional. I was not expecting a splitter to be this pricey, but it works great, set up easily and works great!

    This is a great product for serving the purposes of needing a way to connect up to four HDMI devices into one output. This also allows for switching between the devices manually and through the supplied remote controller.

    Before buying our new flat screen, I did not even know that such a product existed. But, in today's electronic age, it truly has its place. Setting up this HDMI selector was very easy. And, its sleek size makes it almost undetectable amongst the electronic devices around our tv. I have two concerns- price (seems a little steep) and the time it seems to take to find a signal. (Waiting even two minutes seems long and unnecssary). Sometimes we find it necessary to turn it off in order for it to find a signal for the component we are trying to use. All in all, it gets the job done.

    While it does the job of switching HDMI seamlessly, whenever there's no input it makes a high pitched buzz noise which is very annoying. Other than that it works as intended and remote is nice too.

    I used this to replace a failing Yamaha stereo amplifier. The audio works okay but the built in hdmi switch stopped working. So far it works ok. The only thing I noticed was that it took a couple of seconds between switching. At first I thought it wasn't going to work, but it did.
