Adds the ports I needed. I no longer need to get to the back of the TV to add or change devices.

Pros: Allows me to connect 4 HDMI devices to a TV that has only one input. No noticeable degradation of 1080p or 3D signal. Includes remote to switch between devices. Cons: Needs to be plugged in with an AC Adapter (included) to work. Bought this HDMI switch to replace an unpowered version. Thought my 3D blu-ray player was losing signal intermittently because it wasn't getting a strong enough connection. Bought this powered version and am having the same problem. Starting to think it's my HDMI cable that is the culprit. I gave it 4 stars because it does what I needed it to do, but my unpowered one did exactly the same thing without having to use electricity. Maybe if you use 3D or 4K, this powered version is the way to go.

I needed an additional HDMI port for a Fire Stick and a game system. Easy to set up and switch from one to another.

This is exactly what we needed to set up our entertainment system. Our builder placed the cable input on a side wall, then ran the HDMI cable to a location over the fireplace. Visually looks nice, but how to connect everything? Enter the Rocketfish - 4-port HDMI switch! We were able to connect all our devices without having to run additional wires. It's so easy to operate, my 9 year old mastered it in just a few minutes.

This is used at my home as an additional HDMI hub as my tv is only equipped with one port. Simple to use and a good solution.

Does your TV only have three ports? Or worse yet, two? Why do television manufacturers do this to us? Who are these for? No one only uses two ports. Except for maybe crazy people. I bought this thing and now I have my Xbox One X, my Xbox 360, my Apple TV, and my Google Chromecast all hooked up to this bad boy because I am an American and that’s my right to do so. I love it because it adds more HDMI ports and the automatically switching is cool too. Great price too!

This is a wonderful gift to have if you are one of those people that don't just have a TV in their living room. You have five or three systems connected at once. With the use of the Rocketfish four port switch you are able to switch either one of those systems with a remote instead of disconnecting and reconnecting. This is a wonderful gift for those who are games.

If you need additional inputs this device is a great way to go. When you turn on the TV and a device you want to connect, it often realizes that and turns itself on - presto, you are connected! If it always worked that way, I would have given it 5 stars, but sometimes it doesn't turn itself on and you have to do it manually - a minor inconvenience (it does come with a remote to power on and select a specific input)
