Actually worked Bought and return similar unit from Radio Shack which would not pass video.

When I hooked up the switch, the sound on TV would go in and out. Took it back because I thought I had a defective switch, but new one did the exact same thing. Not sure what the issue was, but it was not speed of cables or incompatible cables.

No need to spend extra money on popular brands. Rocketfish is great brand and gives great performance
