I just recently bought a flat screen (LG 55" LED, awesome by the way). I have several HD devices that I use. I had the tv mounted to the wall, so I didn't want all those cords dangling from it. When I first saw this switcher and the price, I'm like "No way!" But I later on caved in and got it. Works great with my Harmony remote. This is a must have. Well worth the price.

I purchased this switch a coupe months ago and it was very easy to install and get to work. The auto switching capability is great, but you have to make sure that your device supports CEC or it will not switch automatically. I can even program it into my Harmony remote, which is great. The problem I have with this device, it that the picture will constantly go in and out. Sometimes I even get black boxes all over my screen. All devices are working perfectly fine without the switch installed. I upgraded my HDMI cables thinking that maybe the cables were the problem, but it did not work. So I gave up and took it out thinking it was a defective product. Last week I decided to purchase another one, thinking that this time it may work. I was wrong. As soon as I plugged it in, I got the exact same problem right out of the box. I feel like this is a manufacturer defect and will be returning it to the store. Will not buy another one. Too expensive for a product that does not work. Hopefully Best Buy will start carrying a different brand HDMI switch.

Everybody can relate with this -- You buy a new TV with all the bells and whistles.. All except one not enough hdmi ports. No worries! Buying this will give each single port 4 ports to connect your stuff to. The purchase is a no brainer!

Getting inputs to connect via the hdmi switch is completely unreliable. You have to make sure everything is plugged in before powering on the hdmi switch and even then it doesn't work more often than it does. I was able to get a couple devices hooked up, but it seems that when a device restarts or is powered off the hdmi switch doesn't pick up the connection again once the device is powered back on. What's the point of having an hdmi switch if I have to do more plugging and unplugging than if I was just swapping devices directly on my tv hdmi inputs? I paid $50 for a device that doesn't even work. Will be returning tomorrow.

My tv only has 1 HDMI input,so I purchased this 3 weeks ago and it has worked flawless.I have a Channelmaster on 1, roku stick on 2, and a high end computer I built with a blu-ray burner/ player on 3. I don't have anything on 4 yet. I plan to build another computer and I have a spare port for it.

I bought my HDTV in 2005 when flat screens only had one HDMI output. This HDMI switch is great because it allows me to connect my PS3 and my HD cable receiver to my TV using an HDMI cable. Great product.

I have a tv with only 1 hdmi input, i did have a belkin switcher that worked great for about a year and stopped. so i figured i'd buy something a little more costly thinking it may last longer, big mistake. first of all I bought this in store, it was the only switcher they even had in the store. the salesman said that it did not auto switch the devices, which i thought kinda pricy for a device that doesn't.... my belkin did autoswitch and cost ½ as much. now the package insert says the devise does support auto switching as long as the connected devices support it. funny thing is i have the same devices connected as i did my belkin, the belkin auto switched and this does not. ok so at this point its just an inconvenience and I've decided i can deal with having to manually switch. I just got a wii u and i have it plugged into input 1 on the device. when i have the tv on and turn on my wii u, the game system starts and everything displays on the game pad, but nothing on the tv. to get the signal to the tv i have to manually change to a different input on the switch box and back to input 1, then it works. i have to do this every time. $80 for a device that doesn't even work properly, avoid it at your own cost.

This was a great buy for the TV that I recently purchased from BEST BUY. It only had 2 HDMI ports and I needed more ports to suit my needs. It was a little expensive-but worth it. I want to thank the salesman that helped me out. He really new his stuff!

The HDMI switch itself works great, however, the remote leaves a lot to be desired. I returned one remote to Best Buy because it only worked a couple of times. The second remote I got did the same thing. It works when it feels like working. Very poor quality remote.

At $60 on sale it is quite expensive by comparison with alternatives. Setup was easy and the remote worked great, but it did not work at all with my ROKU 4 Streaming device. Tried different ports, bought new high quality HDMI cables, etc. LG Blu-Ray player was recognized and worked fine, but no signal at all from ROKU. Replaced it with an $11 switch from MONOPRICE which worked perfectly right out of the box.

I generally like rocketfish products. This one works... Most of the time. Unfortunately, when switching between devices it sometimes fails to make the connection on the first attempt. Every once and awhile it has to be turned off, which allows the box to reboot. It will hook to your device, and as I said, to be fair most of the time it works without a hitch! I can and do still recommend it. You just need to be patient when it "misbehaves"! It does allow for four devices which is nice! After all my Plazma TV still works it just doesn't have enough HDMI ports. This product solves that problem.

Device works well for my situation. DirecTv box and Roku box. No problems in one month use. Too expensive. Shop around before you choose this device.

when I go to turn on my ps3 or something that's connected to it you have turn it off and back on for it to work again n I have had for maybe 1yr and it has a remote and sometimes it don't work at all I trying to find replace it now

Instead of using 4 long HDMI cables I could use 1 and 3 short ones to connect all the devices to the TV. Though it cost a little bit more it does save on cable cost and now I can connect more devices than the 3 HDMI allowed for the TV.

The first one that I hooked up worked fine with the Kindle but when I switched to the DVD the screen on the tv blacked out for 1 - 2 seconds about every 15 seconds. I exchanged and the second one did the same thing. I contacted Rocketfish, they said either it was a bad HDMI cable or a bad switch. I tried switching all of the cables around to no avail. Returned the unit and went to WalMart where I purchased the small GE round disc, it worked perfectly for $25 less!

I just bought this today And it was easy to hook up. i hooked it up with Roku, Google tv blu-ray And Apple TV And It works just fine On my Samsung TV. I heard That HDMI switch box Does not work But this one does.

It works and doesn’t degrade quality noticeably. The only real issue I have is that I have to turn it off and back on every time I want to watch television through it.

This is a great alternative if your not ready to upgrade to a receiver and even when you do it will allow you to have extra ports on your T.V. if necessary.

We purchased this to allow my wife to switch from PC to PS4 inputs on her monitor for gaming and it is exactly what we needed. The remote is an unexpected bonus.

everything works fine as long as you use the remote. Does not auto-switch when it senses power through the hdmi.
