My tv only had 2 inputs and this fixes that super nicely. Love the product and better than getting rid of a perfectly good tv for one with more inputs.

I wish it had labels for the numbers so I could remember which number goes for what item. But other than that, it works well.

Makes it convenient to hook all my Hd devices up the TV and not have to keep switching out cables. Easy to operate and works great!

Works great. Very simple to use. Only drawback is a slight delay in switching. Perfect for home use.

I added an HDMI cable to the entertainment octopus, so needed additional HDMI ports. This was the only one available at the time, and while it's not a top shelf item, it works for what we need, however, it TOO, requires an HDMI cable to connect to the TV - so there was an additional (and unknown until I opened the box) purchase to be made to use it.

When your TV inputs don't do it for you

This is a great addition to your A/V setup when your TV does not have direct addressable and/or to few a number of inputs.

Went through two of these before giving up on the product. Was trying to route an Xbox 360, PS3, and WII U through it into my home theater receiver and only the number 2 input worked correctly on both units! The others either didn't work at all or had horrible artifacting. I tried every combination of plugs to make it work but none did. All of the consoles worked just fine plugged directly into the TV or receiver but the switch failed on all fronts. At least Best Buy has a good return policy!

Worked for about a week then started randomly cutting in and out. Becoming more frequent now. Very disappointed, especially considering the 69.99 price tag. Will be returning to store.

The first one of these kept having the sound go off, and constantly required unplugging to reset. I took it back and they exchanged for a new one. It did the same thing but very seldom. Now as time has gone by, the sound issues are back full tilt. Turned it on today to check a DVD I purchased, and the sound would not work. Turned it off, unplugged and reset. Sound came back ... sort of ... it cuts in & out constantly. I'm done with it. It's going in the trash now.

This is one of the most frustrating products I've ever bought. Whenever I switch my TV input to this it automatically turns on my BD player and switches to it. The vast majority of the times I want to watch a DVR and that will come up briefly before it switches to the BD player. I switch it back to the DVR which comes up for a few seconds then it switches back to the BD player. It usually takes 3 times before it will stay on the DVR. But, if I switch to another TV input and then go back to this it will again go to the BD player. I moved the BD player to the 4th input in hopes it would make it the lowest priority but it had no effect. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless they enjoy getting jerked around by an electronic device.

Wont work with PS4 - xbox one - or wdtv live. Yes you can use the remote to switch but i could have have just kept them plugged straight into the tv if i wanted to use the remote.

Switch doesn't work.
Bought this to replace a Chinese made switch from Amazon that had problems of it's own. Hooked up Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, and PS3...No auto-Switching. Returned for identical replacement, No output unless switch is power-cycled after turning one device off and another on.
Will not be exchanging for a third. Even if switch worked as advertised, the design is terrible: Input port 4 is on the front of the unit, which forces you to bend an HDMI cable into a 90degree U, which is very unhealthy for the cable.

This does what its suppose to do. The con is that there is a lag between switching from output to output. Im sure there are better options out there for the price.

Product works surprisingly well and as it says it will on packaging. NOTE: Auto select feature does not work. Over priced in my opinion. I wish Monster manufactured one.

This thing ended up lastly less than a year. Before that I was advised by the geek squad that they advise strongly against using such a device. When I asked what should one use, I was told that you should get a TV that has the several HDMI ports. So basically if you have more than three devices then your screwed. That's unless you want to spend several hundred dollars more on a TV that has 4 HDMI inputs

Bought in October. Took 1/2 hour to get one device (cable tv) to pass through to the TV. In February added a second input (computer). Then, no matter what I did nothing works. Removed switch and now I manually move the hdmi connectors to allow 3 devices to use 2 TV inputs. This switch is junk.

I bought this product because I needed 3 HDMI inputs to my Sony TV which only had 2. The product works but the auto switching capability could be better.
