    More than is needed

The device is a bit overkill. You could do better with a simpler, cheaper option

    Works Intermittently

I have a PC, a mini Mac, and an Apple TV connected to it. The first month worked well. Now is intermittent. I have to shut everything down a few times until it recognizes the the computers. To late to return, since Best Buy's policy is 15 days.

    Poor Output

I purchased this item for use with a TV with one built-in HDMI. I hoped it would eliminate the need to manually switch HDMI cables between various inputs. After a couple weeks of use the switcher regularly drops the signal coming from my cable box to the TV (Samsung), resulting in distorted picture/sound and black screens as it attemps to regain a connection. I dont know if it is a cable box or tv compatibility issue, but the constantly dropping connection make it unbearable to watch TV and its easier to manually swith the HDMI inputs.

    Junk--Doesn't Work

The Rocketfish - 4-Port HDMI Selector I purchased does not work. When connected, the picture constantly flashed in and out. It didn't matter how many devices were plugged in, which ports they were plugged into, or the order in which they were plugged in. Rocketfish email service/support was useless. They merely suggested switching the ports into which the devices were plugged. When that didn't work, they suggested returning the device to the store. Such a quick referral back to the store for a refund speaks volumes about the engineering design and quality of this product. Why this piece of junk is the only HDMI selector stocked by my local Best Buy store is a mystery. Needless to say, I will be looking elsewhere for an HDMI selector/switcher.

Does not work very well with GOOGLE TV

Bought this to use with GOOGLE TV and a Bluray player since my older HD Tv has only one HDMI input. I'm not sure why but it causes GOOGLE TV to crash- everytime I turn on the tv, the screen is grey with no signal from GOOGLE TV or my cable box. The only way I've gotten it to work is by rebooting both the RocketFish device and GOOGLE TV. I'll be returning this as its more trouble than it's worth.

Piece of junk. Don't waste your money.

This is the biggest waste of $80 I have ever spent. It does not work worth a flip. It is supposed to support up to 4 HDMI devices. Half of the time it does not pick up the devices and keeps giving a "No Signal" message. You have to continually un-lug and re-plug the cords for a chance of them working. Then when you get an image, sometimes your device says "cannot play due to HDMI error, HDMI not connected properly". I give up and plug right into the TV. Waste of money

Does not auto switch for all devices

The automatically switching between attach inputs does not work for Comcast HD cable set-top box, nor does the auto switch work for LG Blue-ray/DVD player. I return it to the store.

    Poor Product

For the price this is an extremely poor product. I only have 2 HDMI inputs on use and the picture goes black like it lost signal and I have to jiggle the box to make it come back - then again it comes back and it loses the signal again as I jiggle the box and make sure the HDMI cables are secure. Very disappointed with this product. It also takes forever for the signal to come in when selecting an input channel.

    Terrible Switch

I attempted to hook this up to my new Genie from DirecTV and the picture immediately went out. It would be a much better purchase if it was HDCP compliant, which would allow it to function with new devices. Also, there are much better options for less than half the price. Do some research before you buy!

I have Uverse,M odem, DVD and 50" Panasonic Flatscreen. I purchased the Rockfish so that all I needed to do was his one button to get the TV on.. Their are four buttons on the Rockfish and I must hit two buttons to get all components to work problem. Not happy about that at all.

This unit requires the unit to be power cycled when the TV and the cable box are turned on again after being off. I have tried this unit on multiple systems with the same results.

Purchased this item on a whim. usually I will research before buying. I have purchased other items from Rocker Fish and never had an issue with quality. It should be pulled from the shelves! Garbage in Garbage out..
