Easy to use, set up. Remote included. Doesn't take up much room. Has one input on the front of the device that makes it easy to connect a camera to the TV.

I have an older model Mitsubishi plasma tv from 2005 that has only HDMI slot. My old DVD was connected by component input to the TV. When we decided to upgrade our home theater and move the Mitsubishi to another room and get a new streaming DVD player, I was short one HDMI slot to connect both my DirectTV receiver and the new DVD player. I'm told newer model DVD players are no required to have options for component hookup. The Best Buy rep suggested this device that would increase the number of HDMI connections available. I purchased this and it works like it's supposed to! The Rocketfish does require plugging into an electrical outlet. Also, I needed an extra HDMI cable to connect from the TV's HDMI slot to the Rocketfish device. I then connected one HDMI cable from the Rocketfish to the DirecTV receiver and another HDMI cable plugged from the Rocketifsh into the DVD player. The Rocketfish comes with a remote to select the HDMI port input (four available), but I configured my Harmony 650 remote to automatically switch by activity used. Port one is for watching DirecTV and port two is for my streaming DVD player. This method was more expensive than I wanted to go, but it was easy and to set up it does allow for all HDMI connections with my devices.

I have an older tv that works great but only has one hdmi cable, this hdmi port allowed me to use my other hdmi cables for blue ray, Apple tv and other things. Remote control makes things easier as well. Product works great.

This product is perfect for anyone who has a TV with limited HDMI ports. I personally bought this product to run in series with MyWirelessTV2. I basically have all of my devices (Playstation, AppleTV, Cable, etc.) running to the 4 Port switch which is then connected to the Transmitter. This allows me to transmit anything I am displaying on my main TV to my bar TV. The Switch seems to work okay with the Transmitter, however, there are sometimes issues where the Switch needs to be turned OFF and ON in order to work properly. I do not blame this on the product; I imagine that when this switch was designed, they may not have anticipated using it in the manner that I am. Either that or the Transmitter is the cause. Either way, this product allowed me to meet my entertainment displaying goals. The remote for the switch is definitely a PLUS.

This was a great buy. My tv only has 2 hdmi ports in the back and my boyfriend and I were constantly moving the tv to get behind it and switch between our devices. With this device, we just plug in all of our devices and we use the little remote it comes with to switch between them all. It doesn't affect the video or sound quality at all and it does exactly what we want it to do. It has three hdmi ports in the back of it and one in the front. So we keep it behind the tv and plug in our gaming consoles and our cable into the back ports and we have one long hdmi cord in the front port that we can easily plug into our computers when we want to. It's such a time saver and it's totally worth it!

Purchased this switch in order to plug in multiple devices to a tv that is hung inside a wall AND has no home theater receiver plug into it. This is a great switch to plug in multiple devices such as gaming systems and smart tv devices being that this tv I’m using the switch in is not a smart tv. The remote allows me to switch between devices with ease and keeps the 1080P without distortion. I would recommend this item to anyone that is needing to plug in multiple devices without having to run numerous hdmi cables to the tv or just don’t want to take down the large tv to plug into more devices.

I got this for my 10 year old LG tv because it only had 2 hdmi ports. Easy setup. I hooked up my PS4, Dragon Box and Cable. Remote made it easy to switch from port to port.

Works great. I especially like the fact that it came with a remote and that 1 of the 4 inputs are on the front. Makes switching between my work and personal laptop on a monitor so much easier.

This item works well for those excess HDMI hookups just a simple push of the button to switch between devices and this has a mini remote included for you couch potatoes

This item is one of the best items I have ever purchased. It automatically switches to whatever unit you're using. The remote control is very easy to operate and I absolutely love the lights. This is a great item! It is also very reasonable in price. I was looking for something that would solve my problem and this was absolutely the right choice! One of the Best Buy Associates had told me that her husband had purchased several of these for his units at home and really love them so that really helped my decision.

What was I looking for you ask? I have a Nintendo switch and an old “fat” PS3 for DVDs. Rather than keep switching the HDMI cable, I was looking for an option to simplify this option by simply having the input setting option set on the TV side for game mode and simply switch between the two gaming systems seemlessly. The Rocketfish 4 port did just this and even has a remote to allow you to switch the HDMI inputs besides directly on the hub. Don’t be impatient. My Samsung TVdoes seems to “think” a bit before I get to the PS3 menu, but I believe it’s just that it’s going through the hub.

Two of my old tv hdmi went out of commission. With this little thing now I have 6 hdmi, two hdmi that still work on my tv and the additional 4 this thing gives you. I like the tiny remote to switch to the desired hdmi. So far works great. One thing though, is best to live it on so it doesn’t switch automatically to the hdmi you left it on. Otherwise if you turn it off and on it will automatically turn on the last device you left it on along with the tv.

Sadly my new tv only had 2 HDMIs, but I needed 3 ports. They were some various ways to do it, some were just to expensive. Others were to cheap and didn't work. So we went for a reliable switch device. This one is relatively small and since its black it blends in well so people don't really notice it. Works great and had no problems. There was no problems with signal/quality issues at all. Love it! If I had a nitpick it would be that you have to use a remote to change the switch. Which means using batteries. Hopefully they last a long time. It's still better than having to get up to switch things by hand like on old switch devices.

Expand 1 HDMI to 4. Used it for a cheap TV that had only 1 HDMI. Works like a charm and even has a remote so no need to get up and press a button. Very easy to setup.

This switch works great. It comes with a remote to switch between ports. I thought this was a requirement when I opened it. I found out after trying to use the remote that I did not it with any of the components that I have plugged into it. When I turn on a component the switch picks the correct port for me. It turns out that the remote is for older components that do not activate the switch by themselves. I am not sure what those components may be. I have a 6 year old Sylvania Plasma TV and even older Smart Blue Ray player as well as a first run Amazon Fire TV Box and they activate the switch automatically.

HD TV had only one HDMI port. Needed to adapt for two: Directv and Chromecast. Worked. Easy hook up. Has it's own remote control to turn on and switch between ports.

My plasma TV only has two HDMI ports, so I needed this to be able to plug in all of my game systems and cable box. Hooking it up is straightforward and easy, and the provided remote allows you to quickly choose 1 of the 4 HDMI outputs. I've been using it to switch between an Xbox One and an Xbox 360, both retain the excellent HD picture quality, and I haven't noticed any signs of lag; the picture and sound is perfect. The only thing I would recommend is to make sure you have enough HDMI cables; you will need an extra to run this little box to your TV. Overall, if your television is short on HDMI ports, this will definitely make your life easier!

I bought this for my parents lake house. We bought them a T.V. and later realized that the mounting frame covered up one of the HDMI outlets. We bought this as a simple solution, they now can have the cable box, DVD player and the children's game console hooked up AND there is an outlet in the front of the box to connect your video camcorder for easy hookup. It comes with a remote to toggle between outlets, but if that gets lost (it is a very small remote) they have a button on top of the box itself. I hooked it up in 5 minutes and thought my dad how to use it in 10 minutes. Very happy with this product.

The unit is compact, easy to install even in a confined space. Easy operation in switching devices connected to it. It has 4 HDMI inputs and 1 output (to TV).

My TV only has one HDMI port, now it has 4! This was very easy to hook up. There is no change in the picture quality from before installing to after. It comes with a remote control, so I don't have to get up to switch between ports. It even has an HDMI port on the front to plug in any portable devices easily. The only negative was that I needed an additional HDMI cable which I forgot to purchase the first trip to the store (DOH!).
