The switch works perfectly as advertised. It has 3 inputs and 1 output on the back, and one input on the front. The remote control is small but works well. It is a line-of-sight remote, so the switch has to be visible to the remote (e.g. it can't be inside of a cabinet with solid doors - glass is fine).

If you are out of HDMI ports on your TV, you may want to consider this device. The remote makes it super handy to switch between ports. I have this programmed with my Harmony for seamless integration with my entire system.

This thing is really cool! We needed one because we ended up going with a cheaper tv that only had one true HDMI port. I knew one of these switchers had to exist, basically an electronic splitter. Cheap and easy to use. Good buys with Rocketfish all around.

My RCA TV got fried in a thunderstorm and only one of the HDMI ports worked after this storm. I bought this HDMI switch with the hopes that I would be able to make use of my TV without having to plug and unplug my devices. I found something that works and works well. SO happy for Rocketfish!

My son had the Xbox 360. He purchased himself the PS4 last summer and the Xbox one at Christmas time. We bought him a Retron 5 to hookup to HDMI and consolidate his other systems. Yeah I know way too many. It works great and makes it much easier to switch between systems.

I found installing a home theater system was a fun project when it came to using my new HDMI switch for allowing me to add more possibilities in viewing more video options then my TV connections allowed. The remote capabilities saved so much time from unplugging and plugging wires.

This device is easy to install, easy to use, and works great! Having more devices than HDMI ports was limiting my enjoyment until I purchased and installed this device. Now I can move quickly and easily between more devices that I want to use my big screen, HDTV without needing to do anything more than press a button or two!!

I have tried several different HDMI switches. They have all been lacking some feature or functionality. This was the first switch that worked as it should, and had all the features such as a remote, or auto-switching that never works correctly. This device checked all the boxes. Works fantastic.

I did choice because, I have TV Panasonic 32 '' with only two HDMI connects. First connect Amazon - Fire TV Stick, second connect Rocketfish - 4 Port HDMI Switch including in this Hub, 1 port DirecTV, 2 port Gateway PC ( 2013), 3 port Compaq PC (2004) with connect VGA to HDMI. All is working perfect.

Our plasma tv is 5 years old and only has 2 HDMI. We had a DVD and the satellite hooked to them. Then we bought a amazon stick and it was a pain reaching in the back to disconnect one of those to connect the amazon. This switch alleviated that issue as we can now plug in all hour HDMI to this and switch over using the remote.

I no longer have to get off the couch to unplug and plug different hdmi cables between satellite box, DVD player, appletv and videophone! This device makes it simple for me to click one button to change inputs! Thanks Best Buy and rockfish!!

Works like a charm! My Apple TV, Direct TV cable box and DVD player all work on this device. The device remains on at all times. I have an "old" Sony TV and there is only 1 HDMI hookup. I was concerned about the switch working but no problem. It does seem a bit slow to respond but this could be because of the old Sony TV.

I highly recommend this if your TV doesn't have many HDMI ports. We only have 2 on ours and 3 devices. I was constantly switching two of them in the one available port. I bought this to stop doing that. It works great with 4 additional ports. You just switch to the one you need and it works great.

We wanted to have a second TV screen in the kitchen connect to the TV set-up in the den. So we bought a splitter to connect the two screens at once. But we also have a TIVO box, Apple TV and a computer that we use for content. We connected them all to this HDMI switch and the set-up works great.

My only complaint would be that it’s limited to 1080p (not 4K, there is a 4K option that’s nearly double the price) & it only has 4 ports & not 5-8 ports. But the packaging says 4 ports, 1080p & it has a remote. Works great & easy set up because it’s plug & play.

Got this for my son for his gaming system. With all the cords for each thing he uses it was nice to be able to keep them organized and to have more ports so you didn’t have to plug and unplug things just to be able to use it

I bought this after trying to use a cheap hdmi switch purchased through Amazon. That switch constantly gave me HDCP errors and was completely unusable. After purchasing the rocketfish hdmi switch, I no longer have any problems with HDCP errors. It also comes with an IR remote which makes it very easy to switch inputs.

This was instrumental in upgrading my current home theater. I didn’t have enough HDMI ports to use my FireTV after I moved. It was definitely cheaper than having to purchase a new system. I have no problems or complaints.

I bought this HDMI switch to expand the capability of my Samsung Smart TV. Went from having 2 HDMI ports to 6 now with this device. It comes with a separate remote control, so you will have to keep track of another remote. Works great for the price.

This is great if you own multiple gaming systems. Out tv only had 2 hdmi ports. We need 5 hdmi ports for all our gaming systems, video streaming and blueray player. For some reason this didn’t work with our blueray player. Everything else worked fine.
