    This is a terrible vacuum. It barely picks up anything. Battery only lasts for 15 minutes and per hair gets stuck on felt roller and inhibits it from picking anything up at all.

    Was disappointed in the service I often praised, I had a product that was under 2 years old that failed, BB no longer offered the same exact model so they gave me a slightly more expensive model in replacement. Sounded good but the new model was flawed, 4 units later I decided to just stop trying to get one that works so I wanted the refund I was told I could get when original item wasn’t available, they didn’t want to repair the defective unit and there was no replacement that was like it. Instead they gave me a store credit. Had manager etc.. come over and tell me that’s how it is. I don’t plan on going here any longer after this interaction when places like Amazon and crutchfield etc.. have warranties that cover the items in full. Photo below shows one of the many errors that the 4 brand new units gave right out of the box.

    $1300 vacuum broke after two months. Screw on the head snapped right off. Called to have it replaced and they want me to drive an hour to the store with two little kids so someone can look at it in person. Was told me sending a picture or video won’t do. Why did I pay $200 for this warranty if it’s going to cost even more money to drive it all the way there!! But yet I can add pictures here!

    What a problem. This was supposed to take a load off and between it getting stuck or it can’t see or the replacement parts it’s a huge headache. Mop started leaking after a few uses

    Best buy Case ID: 2202435300273 I am getting notices of outstanding amount of Best Buy credit card but I am not paying monthly installment in Best Buy credit card because when I bought irobot Roomba 10Max robot vacuum, after few days the robot was not working .

    I purchased this thinking the product would be covered for 2 years but it is only covered until you go to use the warranty. They told me they cannot fix it and would replace it at no charge which is great but the replacement is not covered by their warranty and I would need to spend another $90 for it to be covered. I was told it is more convenient to have the warranty with geek squad because I could go into the store for the replacement but they never even have the item in stock so it’s being mailed to my house.

    Purchased new pricey vacuum and 3 year extended warranty. Was told at time of purchase, April 2024, that the manufacturer warranty was 3 years and then the extended was for an additional 3 years. So there would be 6 years of coverage. Today was informed by Best Buy that the extended warranty we purchased ran concurrently with the manufacturer warranty-so we only have a 3 year warranty.The gentleman at Corporate said this to which I responded why, if its covered by manufacture warranty. His reply was "You get extra things". This is NOT what we have been told each time we would buy extended coverage on big items. We are sooo done with Best Buy. Bye -bye

    this thing is great until it isn't. the dustbin does not seat properly, hair and dirt start building up between the vacuum and dustbin and the empty cycle doesn't clear it. within 2 days it is so clogged that it doesn't actually vacuum anymore. geek squad is useless, they got it 2 days ago and sent it back because they "cant replicate the issue" I'm going to send it back until the shipping charges make it more profitable for them to actually fix it or send me a new one.

    Bought it in hopes if I needed it they would fix the tv. Instead I got pushed off to Samsung and was told suck it up they wont fix it either. Had to buy a new tv when this one was only less then 6 months old. And not fully paid off. Plus they refused to give me a refund.

    Looks like your bestbuy warranties are only good for one use. After my Dyson Ball Multi Floor 2 vacuum failed, bestbuy replaced the vacuum (as per the extended warranty). After 9 months and using this warranty, I have to buy ANOTHER WARRANTY!! FOR $59.99 because the Cape Girardeau, MO store chooses not to NO LONGER pro-rate the warranty!! The bestbuy warranty only allows you one replacement, so...friends, simply skip that $59.99 fast turn-in, and send products to the manufacturer (that offers a 5 year warranty) party, labor, and free shipping/delivery). Purchasing the bestbuy warranty will only cost you an additional $59.99, is good for one use, and can no longer be pro-rated after exercising the warranty!!! Some value, eh?? I contacted bestbuy (and are currently on the phone for 1hr, 58 minutes listing the music...

    I’m very disappointed with Geek Squad. I purchased their Two-year accidental protection plan. My puppy chewed through the cord. It’s covered under the plan. I live on a remote island. They want me to fly with the vacuum to a city with a store. They can’t just mail me a new cord. Ridiculous! I lost a lot of money because of this.

    I called Geek squad a month of go to have my product repaired. I was on the phone for almost to hours, I was transferred to a total of 4 people. The last person I was transferred to was supposed to schedule an in-home repair he put me on hold and then hung up on me. The agent prior to him reassured me that they can have someone come out to my home due to my disability. Now I’ve called back and all of a sudden I now have to bring it into the store. They can’t even accommodate me due to my disability and that is so unfortunate. Where is the compassion and empathy?! So now I’m going to have to lug a big ol carpet cleaner on the bus to get it repaired. Wow Geek squad! I think I’ll just order another carpet cleaner from Walmart.

    Unethical plan swap

    Had 2 plans for 2 different Roombas that were the same model. I brought in the old one in right before it expired and they assured me it was in time but then they fulfilled my newer plan when they told me it couldn't be fixed. Now my new Roomba has an issue but since they used my new plan instead I now have no plan. The corporate support said there was nothing that they could do. Will never buy one of these plans again!

    We bought the dyson V11 April 2020 and today Oct. 17 the vacuum will not turn it self off (this started happening last couple months already) and the connection on the tube to the main head broke. So less then 6 months the vacuum would not turn off sometimes and the tube connection broke. We also have the 5yr geek squad protection. Went to exchange today and had to pay. Why should I have to pay to exchange this? Now we've lost even more money. Shouldn't Best buy had just warranty us at the store exchange for a new one and continue on with our geek squad? But no, Either we use our geek squad warranty which is only a 1 time use. Then I would've gotten a new one without being charge. Plus that no more protection and we've only had the vaccum for 6 months. So now we have to pay the difference for the new vacuum and to keep the Geek Squad. Total rip off imo. You buy a warranty so you don't have to pay again but this time I did. Previous year we had two Dyson ball animal 2 die on us and we did have the geek squad protection as well. They were all free of exchange and kept us the geek squad. This is different not happy at all that we had to pay.

    I purchased a protection plan on my vac October 2021. Vac broke and I returned it January 2022. The protection plan cost me 49.99. I was not refunded any of this when the vac broke in less than 3 months. Terms and conditions says you do provide a pro rated refund. Manager and employees of your Saugus MA location were rude and unaccommodating, then tried to get some help by calling customer service and they were worse. No corporate email to be found. extremely disappointed in Best Buy.

    Protection plan offered no protection. My item was" sent out" for repair not just replaced.no response after they sent email they needed more info even though the work order was clear, written by agent Corey. I made at least 20 to 30 attempts to call Geek Squad and was either on hold for at least 20 minutes and then was disconnected or left a call back number only to have them not call back

    Took in vacuum because battery not keeping a charge, no longer selling vacuum we got…fine, upgrade is really expensive but Amazon has a battery we can replace ourselves for $20. No option to do that at Best Buy. Cancel our return and lo and behold the whole policy canceled at the same time. Glad we found our cheaper alternative…but hate we wasted the money in the first place.
