I bought this to protect a refurbished printer I purchased here. The printer was supposed to come with everything. It came with the ink, but not the cord. How do you send a printer without the stupid cord to plug it in? I go online to ask to replace it under the protection I bought, they say I have to bring the printer and proof of purchase to a Best Buy store. The closet Best Buy store to me is almost 40 minutes away. Are you kidding me? I had to get a cord off Amazon then, which I don’t have prime. Just an entire hassle and unnecessary at that. How hard is it to replace the cord via chat/phone. I hope this protects the printer itself should I need it in the future, because so far it’s done nothing and cost me an extra $35 to have.

Service plan is worthless. I went to the colma Best Buy at 5 pm. I had an appointment and still waited in line. The employee said we don’t service printers, you need to call in home support. Ok I call them, they tell me no it must be serviced in the store. I go back to the store for second time. In time and has I spent more than 35.00. No I highly don’t recommend a service plan. Ok

Geek Squad Tech Mr. Mercado greeeted me upon my arrival on Monday, April 27, as I was in need of a complete virus scan for my inoperable laptop. He was polite and knowledgeable and wrote up the work order and told me that I'd get a text when it wass completed, probably within two days. I was pleased to receive that text message saying my laptop was ready to be picked up today, Wednesday, April 29. When I arrived for my appointment, Mr Mercado was there again, greeted me, explained all that had been done on the laptop and processed me out efficiently, gave me my paperwork and sent me on my way! What an AMAZING employee! Kudos to whoever is responsible for having this man on the Geek Squad Team. Be sure to thank him for his exemplary work ethic and great customer service!

I always dreamed of owning a Wacom Studio Pro Drawing Tablet and when I was able to purchase my own I purchased the 2 year Geek Squad warranty as well. I am so glad I did because I had to return my original perchase. Best Buy came through as promised and they replaced my Wacom with a new one in just a matter of days. My dream to own a Wacom didn't get shattered thanks to the Geek Squad! 4 years later my Wacom is still going strong and I am an illustrator like I always dreamed of!

These guys have the best reputation for fixing, unbricking,connecting, set-up-ing(stay with me here :), and just altogether doing everything they can to make sure your home or business never misses a beat creating,editing, working, writing,composing etc....My family and extended family has relies on "The Squads" for so many personal needs and they've been right there through the various business ventures, school degrees and anything else in between. Jobs are quoted usually VERY accurately..meaning you don't receive an estimate for $100 and then a bill for $350. They are excellent in working with Assurian for mobile device tablet and various screens (although I believe they no longer deal with Samsung) but both of my warranty claims through them were quick, excellent and painless. I'm not sure if it's Been Squad (technically)that does the install but if it is, I have a few compliments there too. I bought remote start with install included and it was so easy to schedule install online, walk in the store browse around a bit , and less than two hours later I got my name paged on the intercom (I love this part because my name Is Inna Livshits). I love my name so much but it makes people uncomfortable and who doesn't like a good laugh?! All in all, 5 stars from me for the Whole squad aka GeekSquad p.s.s. I totally forgot to mention that once my friend from Jordan was here on a work visa 2 months and thought he would need phone flashed opened and fixed bc the sound was completely gone on one side and was expecting to shed out a few hundo,but nope! One of the squad men asked permission to take it back to take a better look. He came out 10 minutes later, problem was fixed, phone exterior was cleaned and he even showed us a section where the mag battery packs were clearanced to $7!

I love my Geek Squad both in store and on line. They are indispensable to this 81 year old that does not understand all the technology associated with wireless printers, computers and cell phones that can all interact and make great communication possible! Honestly for the cost of protection versus the cost to get this printer again I would 100% recommend purchasing protection. If you’re gonna be using printer multiple times a week (or in my case for hours each day 2/3 day a week) over the course of the 4 year protection it only makes sense.

I love having the ability to call the geek squad and know that no matter what the problem they will figure out the right solutions! I use to love doing fix ups on my own but at this point in life it’s great to be able to call the squad sit back and know that everything is gonna be ok!

I LOVE Geek Squad protection. Like, no joke, it's saved me so much money and hassle. Here's the thing – when something breaks, they don't mess around with repairs or give you the runaround. They just replace it or give you store credit to get something new. No questions asked, no drama, just "here's your gift card, go pick out a new one." I've used it multiple times and every time I'm like "wow, that was shockingly easy." Totally worth the protection plan cost because when stuff inevitably breaks (and it will), you're covered. 10/10 would recommend to anyone buying electronics.

It's of my great pleasure that i have Geek Squad in case of item failures or problems. We had only one problem and they scheduled a time to pick up when done. A need to know if they can't fix it they will replce with simular item.They also come out one you join to set up, every item in your house while under the protection plan. Go join and you'll see how simple life really works with a plan of action. I am a verified Geek Squad vip customer . I didn't take any photos, my apologies.

I but my printers from BestBuy because of this warranty. If my printer stops working (which, by experience, I have found they always do) I can take it back & get a comparable replacement. If the replacement costs more, then I pay the difference & I am back in business again.
