The ease of getting the product repaired or receiving credit to use for swapping out for new is great, but the downfall is you lose the warranty once you use it, no matter if its 6 mos, 11 mos, or 2 yrs. If you then want warranty on new one you exchanged for you have to buy ANOTHER warranty for full price. I think the warranty should be good and able to be used for the ENTIRE warranty period, 4 yrs.

I feel secure knowing that I have protection In case anything happens to my projektor

I don't ever buy these things, but for a projector that is supposed to last 10 years....it seemed worth it to avoid early issues.

Have not yet tried warranty but from what they provide for projector protection seems worth it
