Our microwave went out in our office. When I saw that the Samsung would bake as well as microwave, I purchased. Not only does it bake, but it grills, it will combo micro/bake and combo micro/grill. It is simply amazing. We now cook real meals for us to eat instead of having to go out to grab lunch and dinner every day at work. The "microwave" is simply amazing. Everything cooks evenly. Adding the 30% power micro to the baking/grilling cycle speeds things up considerably. Truly microwaved food with the "grill" to brown makes meat appear and taste as it should. Something not able to be done on a regular microwave. We also use it as a toaster clearing up cabinet space by getting rid of the toaster we had. We love this appliance so much that we have purchased one for our RV and use it for camping. The oven in our RV is fairly useless; thus this oven enables us to actually bake. While a bit pricey, when one considers what all it does, I found it well worth the money.

I have not had to use my Geek Squad protection yet. But it was an important part of why I purchased a microwave at Best Buy instead of their competition. Best Buy's Geek Squad guaranteed coverage for the appliance and if it died, I could take it back and walk out with a replacement. Compared to their local competition, I would have had to leave a non-functioning appliance with the competitor, wait for it to be shipped to a repair center, repaired, and returned to me. So that could be weeks without the appliance. Best Buy will have an appliance back in my kitchen the same day. That was the bottom line for me. Price was the same at either place with Best Buy's price matching but the Geek Squad coverage was much better.

I've had this service for several years. It's one of the best things I've ever done. No long waits. You can get service over the telephone or in a Best Buy store. I call up every three or four months and get a "tune up" over the phone. The agents are knowledgeable. They'll install the latest updates and drivers, do a virus scan, discard temp files, and generally clean up the computer. You can go to a Best Buy store if you prefer and get the same service. I've waited on the phone literally for hours for other computer service suppliers. Not with this service. Prompt service at almost any hour. Often late at night. This is some of the best money I've ever spent.

I have 2 laptops on this plan. If you've ever paid to have your computer worked on you know how ungodly expensive it is. The Geeks do wonderful work, you can call from home and they can remote access your computer or if that doesn't work, take it in. A big plus on the call in is it's 24/7 so if you run into a problem at 3 in the morning you have instant help. So far all of my contacts have been English speakers not some call center in India so I can understand them. And finally, it's great to not worry about how much they're going to charge you! Just be aware that they only do software so if you have a bad drive, that's not covered.

I purchased a protection plan from Best Buy for a microwave. After about six months from the purchase date, the microwave stopped working. I called Best Buy's customer service number and was instructed to take the microwave into the store. I am very impressed with how it easy to exchange the microwave for a new one. The person at the return counter very friendly and the transaction was effortless. Best Buy's protection plans are a good value! I recommend purchasing them to protect your purchases.

Quiet and even cooking. Sensor reheat has been perfect to date. Looks great in the kitchen and handles every chore without problem. Our last MW lasted 10 years so it will be interesting to see just how long this one will last. (We use every day.) Highly suggest you purchase the extended warranty for peace-of-mind. (They don't build them like they used to.) BB beat everyone on price at the time we purchased so a simple choice.

Have purchased Geek Squad for every major purchase we've made at Best Buy. Usually don't bother with "extended warranty" plans, however Geek Squad gets such excellent reviews on everything from computers to large & small appliances. So far we have been very pleased... especially with computer Geek Squad! Worth the bit extra in cost in many ways!

I was able to buy this microwave because I had the Geek Squad protection on my old microwave that died 3 years into my 4 year plan. I brought it to the Geek Squad, and a few days later I received a call saying it was uneconomical to repair and that I could come pick out a new microwave. I chose a different brand this time, and of course I repurchased the protection!

U never know what kind of handling ur equipment had before it reached the store that sold it to u. Trust me. I worked for a courier service for many years and the way some of the packages were tossed and dropped... U NEED protection. Relying on the manufacturing protection alone is foolish. I've been usong best buys gsp for years and I've haven't been let down yet.

My microwave died this morning and I had my replacement back home and installed by noon. Of course I wish the unit had lasted more than 28 months, but that's why I bought this protection. Needless to say, I got another 4-year plan for the new unit. The replacement cost me nothing.

I had purchased a microwave last year and had purchased the 4yr warranty. The microwave started having issues, so I took it into Best Buy I got a new microwave, so of course I bought a new warranty on my new microwave. To me it made sense to have the coverage. No worries, item goes bad it's either fixed or replaced.

This was a replacement from our previous Panasonic Microwave. Although that model was discontinued, this is its successor. It is solid, well made, cooks accurately and is easy and straightforward to program. It fits our dimensions perfectly and has all the features we need and some that will be fun to try

Getting the plan saved me a ton of time and money when my microwave gave out on me a year and a half after purchasing it. I was able to get a store credit to put towards this one, and of course I bought the plan on it. Save yourself a hassle and spend a few extra bucks now so you aren't out a few hundred in a couple years.

Ordinally, we decline protection on some products; however, it is our experience that protection plans at Best Buy have been an answer for us, especially when living on social security and limited funds. With other issues with our newest product, (not from Best Buy) we didn't hesitate.

This was for an LG microwave that worked for a bit over a year. When it quit suddenly, I took it back to BB for a replacement. With the Geek Squad coverage, there was no concern, and got an immediate store credit to purchase a replacement. Bought Geek Squad for the replacement as well.

It’s great to never have to worry about your product being damaged dropped or gotten moisture into geek squad is there to take care of it everyone should have a geek squad protection plan let you enjoy your product without having to worry

Geek Squad sent me a new phone in two days. I didn't have to send mine back until I received the new device. Since they didn't have a refurbished device in stock, they sent me a brand new in box unit. Great customer service. Cheap deductible compared to Asurion.

I've never been one to buy a warrenty at the checkout lane but knowing it covers full replacement if something happens. The staff was very knowledgeable about product and how easy redeeming warrenty. Great value and I honestly felt like I was ripping them off.

For the small price you pay for the Geek squad protection, it's definitely worth it. We've purchased a couple of different items at Best Buy that were defective or didn't hold up well and the protection replaced the item no questions asked.

Haven't needed to use it yet but glad I bought it and combined with the cost of the item, could of done a lot worse. Fingers crossed I don't need the insurance but then if I didn't get the warranty, I would probably have regretted it.
