This lens cover is great for the Sony 18-55mm Lens and the price has been discounted so thats even better. Theres not much you can say about a lens cover, it does its job.

My Sony A6000 lens cap had no way to secure it other than one of those stick on tethers. This one has a hole which I used to secure it to the camera with a string from an old camera. I have not had any trouble with it falling off, though others have mention that it might not stay on as securely as the original.

The lens cap fits, but not snugly. You have to be very careful that it does not pop off getting the camera in and out of your bag. Not much protection if it just pops off.

Much better than the original Sony cap. Always get one as I lose the Sony cap within a month. Now I put the Sony cap in the box and just use the best buy one.

I really like this lens cap. It comes with an elastic cord and sticky to put on the lens. This is very nice so you don't constantly have to find the lens cap and which pocket you put it. Eventually I lost the OEM lens cap, so I had to pick this up. It was an inexpensive replacement that gets the job done. Only complain it it's a little loose compared to the OEM Cap. I do have a Rocketfish polarizer installed, this may be the reason...but the OEM cap fit just fine on it.

I've bought a few of these because my camera didn't come with a lens cap and it fits perfect. It protects against dust and scratches and is easy to take on and off.

Great that best buy sell it for older Sony Alpha camera.

It's a lens cap. It does exactly what it's supposed to do, cover the lens when not in use. It's not made of unobtanium or something mythical, it's a piece of plastic, meant for a task. The price of this product makes it more than worth it as a replacement. There are no obnoxious brand marks on the front, making it nice and simple. It works, it's cheap, and if you need one, it fits the bill. Why pay more just to get the same thing with your camera brand emblazoned on the front?

I got this for my Samsung NX300 because there wasn't a cap in the box for the 20mm-50mm lens. It fits on great and does the job, but sometimes it pops off with very little effort. That may be more on the lens itself rather than the lens cap.

My husband bought this cap for his camera lens. What I noticed, that was a drawback, is that it didn't have a string attachment from cap to camera, so that when you removed the cap you had to set it down & take the picture, where as, if you had it attached to the camera, you could take it off the camera lens and it would just hang down. Needless to say, he did set the cover down to take a picture, & forgot about it until later. When he went back it was gone. I believe it had a hole in the cap. If so, you could take a skinny piece of elastic & attach it yourself. Less chance of losing it.

Bought these on sale. For the price they work good. Cap does tend to come off sometimes. This is only when handling the camera. Does not snugly fit the lens like original lens cap.

Lens caps are easy to misplace or to get knocked off the camera. I suspect I will be replacing this lens cap with another just like it in the future.
