Good movie. I'm suprised that it got the 4k steel book treatment. I'm glad I picked it up, it looks and sounds amazing! Awesome adventure movie! Keanu is always a good choice!

I thought the movie was good for what it is. You don't go in expecting a great movie and you won't be disappointed. It does have good action but just not enough in my opinion. My wife loved the love story, so she liked the move for that.

Epic saga of feudal Japan. Highly recommended. Entertaining, well told story we should all know about. Very close the actual historic tale of Honor and Redemption. This will be a part of my collection I will watch again and again!!!

Im a fan of samurai flicks and this was a here and there movie. As it had alot of accuracy but alot of CGI and add ins. I appreciated the movie but know its not a very serious history or anything of that nature

Keanu Reeves seems to excel in action movies and he did a nice job in this one as well. The story is quite interesting and the effects outstanding. I can see myself watching 47 Ronin again and maybe again. It was fun.

I had my doubts about the movie not a huge Keanu Reeves fan. The movie was a whole lot better than I expected. I would definately recommend the movie to watch and already did to some coworkers. It's worth the time check it out.

Do not over-think this one...just relax and enjoy it. The story of the 47 Ronin is awesome, but this movie cannot live up to its retelling. It has service-able but not great acting. It has some really good action and CG sequences.

It funny because I love Keeanu in several movies (Matrix, Johnny Mnemonic) - I really do but he really doesn't add to this one much with his acting yet it still is a pretty darn great movie if ya like marshal arts fantasy movies.

The front of the steelbook has a nice touch with both gloss and matte finish, Keanu highlighted in gloss. Looks great out of package. Full size image of the villain on the reverse back side as well. Recommended for steelbook collectors.

If you are looking for a different view on Japanese folklore that involves samurai then this is for you. The visuals were very good and the story line was definitely different from what I am used to. Definitely a good buy.

I saw this at the movies when it first came out and I knew I was going to have to have it in my collection when it was released for sale. A lot of the critics didn't seem to care for it, but I thought it was pretty good.

This is one of my favorite movies, but watching it in HDR showed details and effects I never saw before, yet they were subtle. The HDR is also very well done throughout the movie and balanced just right, rather than being used as a gimmick.

I was a bit doubtful to purchase this as the review of this movie is mixed. I'm glad I make the right choice because Keenu Reeve is great and the story is pretty good as well. I do have to call out that you do need some understanding about the Asian (especially Japan) culture and history to fully appreciate this movie.

Acting was surprisingly good. Keanu Reeves did a pretty good job. I love these kinds of movies and it did not disappoint. Fantasy/Action may not be everyone's cup of tea, but this was a good movie. Even my wife enjoyed it

If you enjoy martial arts movies with a historical foundation, this will entertain. Keanu Reeves doesn't earn his performance money, but the story is sufficient to make watching i time spent reasonably well.

This movie is good you should give it a chance. I really enjoyed it. I bought the movie for a great price. I really love the steelbook.

The story of the 47 Ronin isn't about fantasy and dragons everywhere, but masterless samurai banding together for one last ride. Hollywood went overboard here, but at least there are cool action sequences.

This film gives you glimpse in to the mindset of the pre-WWII Japan. The mind set as illustrated in this film is very disturbing and enthralling at the same time. The movie is beautifully filmed and well acted.

Others rated the movie poor to fair but I never go by what other people think and like to make my own decision. I loved the movie from start to finish and loved Keanu Reeves as the main actor and character as forming the 47 Ronin. I would watch this movie again especially when you watch it the first time you miss a lot of things

Is it a great movie? No. But it stars Keanu and that's good enough for me. Great transfer and demo worthy sound. Steelbook looks good too.
