I finally got around to picking this up and was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this one. Reeves was great, but it some of the contents of the film seemed out of place making it feel disjointed to me.

I like movies filmed in exotic locations. The plot could have been better, however given the actors strong suits, they were probably on par. More or extended scenes in the slave market would have been an added plus.

fairly well done movie. always like what Keanu Reeves does. storyline was interesting and the movie itself was very well put together from a graphic standpoint. Not all action and not all storyline either.

If you liked The Last Samurai, this movie is right for you. While it has a lot of supernatural sequences, the samurai theme and sword sequences are excellent. Keanu Reeves does a great job, as well as some of the actors who were in The Last Samurai. If you enjoy old style Japanese themed movies, I highly recommend this film.

It's never going to get better than Matrix for him. John Wick is very good but not quite there still. This film is great visually but if you expect more than wooden acting and bad scripting move on.

I rented the movie and I watched it. I was not expecting anything special but it was good enough that when I saw it on sale at Best Buy I told myself "Why not" and now it is part of my collection.

A Japanese sci-fi film. Very different than other movies out. If you're a sci-fi fan and enjoy Keanu Reeves movies then it's worth a try.

I like the film and this fits Keanu perfectly, he does not have to act much like the Matrix. The story line is good, when asked about any film I always say everyone dies in the end. Spoiler alert...

The story line was entertaining and interesting, but could have been much more so if there was no fantasy aspect. I believe the movie was based on the story of the '47 Ronin;' there was no fantasy in the novel.

Good movie wish they wouid make another one but they probably won't.

Ronin 47 was a great story accompanied by stunning visual effects!..the film was entraining, just felt it lacked a bit more action..at times it can slow a bit…but the plot is entertaining to keep ya watching!

Interesting concept with Keanu Reeves being a super martial arts master. Kind of like the matrix meets supernatural soldiers. I enjoyed it but didn't really understand the full story until the very end.

Got this movie at a great price. This movie under performed at the box office due to various reasons. Despite the low performance, the movie is still worth a watch on movie night. Go buy it today.

Not as good as theatrical presentation but still had stunning 3d and PQ on my 55" Sammy led. Special effects look cheesy at times and K. Reeves is consistently flat but a great action flick nonetheless.

I am a huge fan of this movie and Keanu Reeves. I loved the whole Japanese culture and the beautiful costumes and backdrop of the movie. An all star cast and was entertaining from beginning to the end.

Great movie and even better with 4K. The steel book is a real collectors item and has great art work. The only thing that left me a little upset was why the pre order cost more than your web site on the day of release.

Although I can't really see Keanu Reeves as anything but Neo now, this is still a very good movie. Actually surprisingly good. Not necessarily for Reeves' acting (his monotone voice still reminds me of Neo), but the overall work. I've watched it a couple of times, and will watch it a few more :)

Movie has good action and great special effects. The 3D is good, but could have been better used. I recommend this movie if you're looking for a movie that is not great but offers good entertainment.

A lot of the samurai movies made nowadays I feel for a bit short. That is not the case for this one. I have yet to watch it in 3-D but believe it would be amazing with the special-effects in this movie. Keanu Reeves doesn't excellent job portraying his character. I would surely list this as a must see.

From the fantastic visuals and fascinating figure known as Keanu Reeves; I found this historical tale filled with mystical magic and samurai to be quite enjoyable. The costumes, vibrant hues, and chemistry of the cast make this a film worth adding to any movie library.
