Needed compact bookshelf speakers and reasonable price and these worked out well. Rich sound with reasonable bass.

Surprising decent speakers for the price. Best to get when on sale, but better or equal to most namebrand speakers that cost more.

These speakers sound good for the size and price. A little more bass would be nice but can't really be expected for the size.

Surprising excellent sound for cheap bookcase speakers. I need something quick and i just got the first speakers i found. Very pleasantly surprised by the quality of sound.

A few years ago we bought an earlier model of these for the front speakers of the system we connected to our TV in the basement and love them, so it was a no brainer to look for those again when we wanted to replace the floor speakers we used with a different TV. We found they no longer make that model but these were basically the same thing, just different model.

I use these for side surround I have a center speaker, two front and two rear speakers as well. It completes my system and none of my speakers are over powerful so they work nicely. I would recommend for someone looking to complete a middle of the road surround system.

Bought these to test out a used receiver. Ended up keeping them in the office hooked up to Zone 3 audio. Good bang for the buck

I wanted simple bookshelf type speakers to replace an aging pair. Found these in -store and hooked them up with 18 gauge wire and they fit my needs fine. I'm not an audiophile, so I wouldn't dare comment on phase, sound quality reproduction, distortion, or frequency range etc. I can hear my music just fine and they sound ok.

Have a powered 12" subwoofer and a pair of Bose 201s. System sounds good, wanted a touch more midrange and hi end, plus dispersion. Looked at the little Bose speakers, 120 or so dollars for a pair. Thought to get some 301s to replace the 201s. Read reviews and saw price on these, SOLD. Added them to the sub and 201s, sound great! They are just as good as the 201s for my rock!

Good value for the price. Has great sound. The speakers are just small enough to fit on the book shelf.

Will not blow the doors off anything. Sound is ok for use in my garage. If you are into heavy bass, get something larger.

Everyone has their own taste in sound, but I love my pair of Insignia bookshelf speakers made in China for Best Buy!

Great speaker sound and a nice size for the price.

I use these speakers as rears for my surround sound system and they work well. The woofer is a little darker than I expected. I have Polk Monitor speaks for fronts and center. I needed cheap rears (I was not concerned about timbre matching) and these fit the bill.

I purchased these to use in my garage while working on my projects with my Bluetooth receiver with excellent sound and volume. Very happy....could not find anything better for the price and 5 star reviews could not ask for anymore. Even better they were on sale when I purchased them!!

I needed some cheap reliable speakers for my record player. It's nothing fancy, but it sounds alright.

Note that these do not come with any speaker cables/connectors (bare speakers only) and an amplifier is required. Once set up, the speakers have a great sound for the sale price I received, on par with speakers that cost 2-4x more. Just keep in mind the added cost of an amplifier, speaker wire, etc.
