This is a great sound system for the price. Extremely easy setup, great sound from the speakers dispite their size and deep roar from the subwoofer. I love watching movies and playing Xbox, this system is great for both.

I recently bought a 60" Sony Bravia, and I was seriously disappointed to discover that my Panasonic 5 disc DVD/Surround sound didn't work at all with my new TV. This one has been on my radar ever since, and I am definitely pleased with my purchase. The Sony BDVE3100 is easy to set up, the speakers and sub-woofer are color coded for easy recognition, and the surround speakers have plenty of wire( at least for my setup). Connecting to my wireless router was easy, just don't forget to install the network update as soon as you connect it!!! I've read numerous reviews on this system, and there were complaints about the sound. I personally don't get it, the sound is amazing. As I was mounting one of the surround speakers on a wall an especially intense scene from Iron Man 3 came on, and the explosion caught me off guard. I still have things to learn as far as synching this up with my TV, but overall I love this system. And at just $250.00, this is a steal!!!! And if you have a newer model TV make sure to purchase a digital optical cable along with this!!!

Easy installation, easy setup to a wireless network, great picture and fully functional remote. The sound is excellent.

The sound is fantastic but it is a pain toggling between the TV HDMI and the Sound System HDMI back to the TV HDMI to get the Sound System speakers to play when you first power the units on. Other than that, love it!

I have multiple Sony surround sound systems and this one is great the sound is loud and clear and the setup is easy

My wife and I ended up buying this on the whim when we visited a Best Buy store looking at 4K tv's. We had an outdated 2013 Samsung Blu Ray home theater in a box. The blu ray would not play blu ray discs any longer. After finding this Sony product, we saw that it was 500 more watts than the one that we had. So we ended up buying it due to my experience with Sony car stereo products in the past. When we got home and hooked everything up, the sound of the speakers is not bad for the price you paid. But.. When you use the app features like, VUDU or HULU, it will sometimes freeze or give you a internet network error and wouldn't allow you to continue using it. The Samsung unit did not do this. We had to basically reboot the thing by turning it off and back on which is very inconvenient! Otherwise everything else worked thus the three star rating.

Vedy affordable! We love that it has wifi and we can get on Netflix. Sounds great and has great bass as well.

I bought this four years ago and it's still running strong. Great sound, good picture, nice features. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the speaker connectors. Color-coded connectors are nice but I prefer to be able to use my own speaker cable and you can't do that with this system.

Very satisfied with product all around, didn't give it 5 stars only because I feel it lags when loading online content like Netflix or Hulu. Speed increased when connecting Ethernet cable straight to modem however not as fast as Apple TV . Sound is amazing did notice sound is low till increased to level 20 then it gets real loud.
