Since this was a major appliance, I figured I should get the 3-year plan and not 5-year plan. I chose the shorter plan on the assumption if something is going to break, it will be sooner than later.

Love my fridge.The features are very good and useful for meal planning. I know when an item is about to expire. Writing notes is awesome.

Fast forward: six months before the warranty’s up, the ice machine calls it quits. Total repair cost? $420. The plan covered every cent. So yeah, I’ll admit it. The plan paid for itself three times over, and I didn’t have to lift a wrench or argue with a tech. It wasn’t just a good deal—it was a smart call. Props to my wife.

Excellent and fast, friendly service. I had a issue with my Outlook account and they were able to talk me through the issue, relatively easy.

I always buy LG products because their products are well designed, last longer and the quality is good.

So far they're fixing it when they need to. Don't know about the reimbursement of the foods. Foliage won't know until after I submit it, but so far satisfactory unfortunately they have canceled so I've been able to use my freezer too much more refrigerator, so we'll have to see how the food spoilage reimbursement comes about

Best Buy honors its Geek Squad protection plans. I buy them for all my appliances, TV's and electronics. Definitely worth it since they don't make things like they used to.

I hear 1, will someone go 2? I'll go 3. Going once, going twice... 5 year oh my goodness we have 5 years going once, twice, sold to the handsome young man over there. 5 year service protect is comforting for such a great purchase price.

Bought this fridge to replace our last KitchenAid fridge which lasted us 16 years. This was closest in design to our last fridge but for some reason came with less shelves on the fridge and freezer sides. Additional shelves must be purchased separately when the older models came with all the shelves which is ridiculous as there are clearly grooves for the missing shelves. Also the ice maker in the freezer is obnoxiously loud when making ice. Our prior fridge was never this loud. Overall the fridge is ok but we much prefer the older model. Picked KitchenAid since our last one gave us 16 years. Hopefully this one has a long life as well.

The sales guys was wonderful and reminding me about this so I bought it to make sure that my fridge will be running smoothly
