I didn't read the reviews before buying an 83" LG C3 OLED and I'm kind of glad. Even though it seems like high ratings for large TV installs, there are a lot of negative reviews with pics to prove it. But I was fortunate enough to have a very good crew. Positioning your TV is, in my opinion, the responsibility of purchaser and NOT the installation crew. I taped off the center of my media room and I also carefully measured the height of my center channel speaker and taped off the minimum height that the OLED should be at or above. I have a nice HT setup with a ton of electronics, so the reviews where the TV fell off the wall definitely worry me. I bought the heaviest duty Sanus wall mount though, so hopefully all will be ok for the time I own this and maybe even the next TV. I plan to leave the TV back against the wall when listening to 2-channel music and then pull it away (~30") when viewing a movie, NFL football game or a TV show. To be honest, I with the Sanus mount wasn't so jankie. You can move it around if you sneeze. It should be tighter and harder to twist or move it side-to-side. But that's not the Geek Squad's fault and could be adjustments on the stand itself to firm things up. I will look more into it. Anyway, the 36" height marked with blue tape and the center of my room taped onto my carpet were both met with precision. And I mean nearly exact precision. 36" were observed with a laser measure on either side of the OLED. I spent the day after moving in all of my racks, equipment and speakers and all lined up beautifully. I am happy with their professionalism and attention to detail. Thank you!

My TV mounting was excellent. The installers were very professional and took their tasks of mounting the TV and making all the basic components functioned the way they should.

I've had 3 tvs mounted using the discount service provided through the total tech support membership. Friendly knowledgeable service that was as quick as 30 minutes for the easiest install, but would happily spend several hours on my most difficult.

After almost two years, my mount that was not installed correctly ( anchors in studs) came out at one corner, so this time the geek squad came out and fixed that issue, and did a great job, the last time it was a sub contractor, I still had to pay for an install but now I know it’s done properly. Mounted at 83inch OLED. Initially was going to hand myself, then the monster arrived. Decided at my age and hire a pro. Easy to schedule, two techs showed up within the 2 hr window. Professionally installed. Cleaned up and disposed of the packing materials.

I am so happy with Adam and Brandon's work. We could've never installed this TCL properly without their help. Super professional. Adam made calls to let us know how they were progressing and a more exact time they would arrive and they arrived on time. They were friendly and got straight to work. They measured carefully so the TV was centered perfectly and the right height. They made sure the TV would be at a viewing height that was comfortable with us. They showed us how the remote worked. Most importantly for me and why I bought the TV was for the art feature. If I ever need help from the geek squad I would request them. They were great!!

I like this TV but was not quite as wowed it’s certainly a good tv but imho not better than the Hisense 75 U8K. Picture is good and TV body is sleek and thin. Not necessarily unhappy with it-just could be a bit better. Ive had Samsung QLEDs before and liked them—I dont think this “Neo” one is as good as 2017 version or LG OLED. But still a good tv if you get a good deal you will like it.

contractors were on time and very efficient and knowledgeable. Took them about an hour to place tv mount on wall, unbox tv, and then hang. Minor adjustments were made. Overall, very efficient

The guys that did my install were extremely friendly knowledgeable and kind. I felt like they went out of the way to help me, show me more than required, and provide additional ideas for my set up. They even did a demo on my TV even though they didn't deliver it. It was much larger than the one it replaced so it took some getting used to. About a week later I have noticed that it seems slightly off level. After disagreement with my wife I pulled out a level and while extremely close it is ever so slightly off. Not that I could have probably done much better but I can't unsee it. Knowing that fixing it would just put more holes in my wall and be an overall nightmare I am fine with it for how slight it is. No one sees it but me. But overall the service was excellent and timely! Unfortunately my TV had weird holes in the back that prevented some of the ideas they had from being implemented because the brackets they had on hand would not work with the TV.

The guys removed an 18 year old plasma tv. Removed the old wall bracket. Removed many component wires from the wall. Installed the new movable wall bracket. Put the HDMI wires back into the wall. Hooked up and paired a DVD player, Roku, Firestick, and cable box. Left an optical sound cord to be hooked up to my Bose Lifestyle 38, which I haven’t been able to accomplish yet. The area was spotless when they left. They forgot their vacuum, which we were able to get back to them the next day. Happy so far.

Excellent and professional technical service. The technicians were personable and displayed excellent customer service. My tv looks do great mounted on the wall! Just Super!!

The Geek Squad team of 3 actually showed up early and assisted with removing my old TV and mount and did a fantastic job of mounting our new 98’ TCL TV. Normally I mount my own TVs but I knew that mounting one this large would require more expertise and strength than my wife and I could handle. The team was very professional and efficient. They removed all the packaging and answered all my questions. Great service highly recommended!

The agents mounted my 75” TV to my wall. Not only did they confirm the arrival window and time, they showed up promptly. They were super friendly and quite personable. I felt very comfortable with the gentlemen that did the installation. They installed it exactly where I asked them to and they did an excellent job!! I loved their service so much, that I had them install my son’s TV as well!! Worth every penny!

The agents that came out were very nice and did it so fast and efficiently definitely would recommend the service. It also wasn’t one of those awkward we have random people we don’t know mounting our TV moments they were very talkative and nice.

They did amazing work at mounting my 65 inch Sony x900f to my wall. I strongly suggest that if you aren't certain as to how to mount a TV call them. They came prepared and it was a very clean job. I will make sure to ask for them for my next tv that I will be purchasing soon for my living room

The service was a dream come true! I would never have attempted to mount the TV on my own. The tech took his time, consulted on placement, showed me how the mount works, made sure I was comfortable using the TV and even connected my soundbar. The service was totally worth the setup fee!

Great crew and flawless set up. I did have to add two HDMI extensions to make it easier to tilt left and right, but that was a small adjustment.

Prompt timely efficient customer oriented professional knowledgeable great service highly recommend!! I tilt it however I like and swivel! Perfect for 75inch! I will use geek squad for all my needs. They have on their masks booties gloves.

I have installed MANY flat screen TV’s in my life, but nothing larger than 55”. Being 83” and a fragile screen, it was WELL worth having Best Buy do the full installation. They were quick, clean and super efficent! They also programmed my DTV remote as well as making sure other settings including ARC were all good before leaving.

I was reluctant to have Best Buy mount my tv & sound bar for a while. I wanted the wires run inside the wall as well which only added to my hesitation I considered doing it myself but was concerned about dropping my tv or it looking bad. I finally pulled the trigger and scheduled service. These 2 guys from Geek Squad were perfect from start to finish.They were extremely competent and professional I love the job they did and only wish I would’ve done it years ago. I would highly recommend Geek Squad to anyone at my local Best Buy.
