I just really enjoy this music. I tend to lean toward OU812 as my favorite album with Sammy but 5150 is definitely a must buy for any Van Halen fan

If you are a fan - this is a must have. Although there are more love ballads than some of the other VH albums.

First album with Sammy Hagar. I really think it's good even though I like David Lee Roth in the band Better...

Sammy on vocals and writing songs gave them a different feel for their music after Roth. Good album

This outstanding album was the debut of Sammy Hagar as lead singer of Van Halen. It is much different from the music they made with David Lee Roth, but, it is still good. There's no denying that all cylinders were firing for these guys. This Van Halen cd is amazing. The guitar riffs are great and it sounds like the guys are having fun. Great rock is just that great 5150 is great rock. The mix of songs is fantastic, & are perfectly placed on the album. Does it get any better than this ? Eddie Van Halen is one of the best guitarists in the world. This album has it all a great mix of melodies and guitar rock. What makes Eddie so great is his guitar skills combined with his ability to write memorable tunes. Sammy Hagar is also amazing and a very good performer. The songs blow you away. 5150, the debut of Sammy Hagar, is Van Halen at its apex of its creativity. If you ever buy just one Van Halen album in your entire life, make sure its this one.

Well, the beginning of the years with Sammy Hager starts out good. The stand out track Track 2 Why Can’t This Be Love the big hit Track 4 Dreams & Track 6 Best of Both Worlds are good. Wish they still made music instead of headlines Eddie. And, keep a lead singer…..
