    Yes it works, but it is subtle to see the effect in your viewfinder. You'll have to use the exposure meter to know how to adjust it. The image shows a slight decrease of crispness in the focus. Okay for a beginner. A good eye can tell the difference.

    I have not had a good camera sense the 35mm Minolta days. I am glad to be back in and this Nickon package is making it easy to get caught up to the digital age ! Very good buy I think.
