I purchased this item for my fiance and I as we both bought Canon DSLR cameras a couple of weeks ago. We really like this filter because it helps with the overall brightness of our photos. It also protects our lenses.

This polarizer does a good job of reducing glare and bringing out a blue sky. A great way to protect your lens too.

This polarizer does a decent job of giving the photographer some control over light reflection and color. It mounts to the lens easily, though it can impede the use of lens shields. For the price, it's a great value, just don't expect professional level quality or performance.

This is not a bad polarized len filter.. The useability however is more or less limited to medium to low light situations such as shaded areas and indoors. If a full poarizing effect is desired then I would sugest getting two of these len filters and screwing them together. Very doable and all for the amazing price of twice as much! A bonus is that with two filters stacked together you can actually see the filter ring through the viewfinder! Incredable effect and the more you use it, the more annoying it becomes! A hint I might give is to look to Walmart . They offer a Sunpac polarizing filter that has two filters (one can be rotated) mounted together. The problem with the Sunpac filters from Wallyworld is that a filter of 55mm in diameter is not available. Other then some other on-line source or specialty store, Best Buy seems to be the only place you can get filters of this size, and your prone to making impulse purchases, or are desperate. .

These filters are cheap and do the job well. Rocketfish is good.

I wanted to get a polarizing filter for my 18-70mm zoom and just happened to find one at Best Buy while shopping for other items. It works well and the price was good.

Really helps keep the glare off the pictures. Doesn't take anything away from pictures they've all turned out perfectly clear and sharp.

I enjoy using this lens to take photos. It is easy to put on my camera. It really enhances the colors for landscape pictures.

lens filter fits nice, treads on perfectly, had other brands that feel like they are cross threading.
