    The DSLR camera I bought didn't come with a polarizing filter and I began to notice I couldn't adjust the camera settings well when my subjects were very close to a window with lots of natural light. After I bought this lens my camera could easily handle pictures with low and high light areas in my shots. Well worth the cost, which was very little compared to the cost of the camera.
