I purchased these speakers on a whim. I remodeled my kitchen, and wanted be able to play music, so I decided to go with ceiling speakers. The installation was relatively simple, and once turned on...WOW! Powerful, clear, no vibration. I could've, and was about to purchase another brand based on price which was way more expensive, but figured, it's only the kitchen so I went with these. End result, great purchase. Would definitely recommend.

Good speaker with great sound at a good price point, also offers a swivel tweeter.

I could not believe how easy these were to install. The provided template makes a nice fit for the speaker base. I ran wires first so connections were a breeze. My wife is particular about her music and she was very happy with how everything sounded. We now can walk from room to room and get the same quality and level of sound. For the money they cannot be beat.

Was worried to buy these didn't think the sound would be there. My brother has Yamaha speakers and suggested those. I decided to go with the insignia and both him and myself were blown away from the quality and price. Would recommend to anyone on a budget.

The speakers sound great. There's not a lot of bass which others have also commented about, but for mounting above my kitchen, with the right pre-amp/receiver to push the power, they work fine. I installed these with an audio switch on the inside of the home and that pairing is great for volume control. For those of you who are going to ask whether these are perfect for your surround sound system, I am not using them for that, but I might caution that they lack the power and bass that more specific surround speakers could offer. I'm not an expert, however, just a conscientious consumer.

Got these for my parents who are remodeling the basement. They're super easy to install in drop ceiling tiles and are really shallow mounting. Very good sound. Got them on clearance so couldn't beat the price if I tried!

I was able to quickly install these speakers and get them running. Only problem is that the grill over the speaker is a bit difficult to snap in place, and it took some time and manipulation to get the grill in place. But they sound great and I didn't spend a lot of money.

Speakers sound great, easy to install although you have to figure out how to take the grill out. I just used a Phillips head screwdriver from the back and popped the grills. Sound great at out tea shop in Tustin

These in-ceiling speakers are easy to install and sound really good. A definite best buy for the price.

The bass kind of sucks but other than that it's pretty good. Really awesome for the 99 bucks price. Not so much for 199.00

These speakers were easy to install and are flush with my ceiling so they look great. I have them hooked up to my Yamaha receiver and the sound quality is good, since they are used for the surround sound I do not need them to be as powerful as the front speakers. Love them and would recommend.

Originally we were going to buy speakers from a salesman for $350 I ran across these speakers while in best buy best decision to go with these. The sales man said they were great quality as well.

I am installing a whole home audio system in my home for 12 zones of audio. I had purchased the rocketfish volume knobs, and was looking for a good solution for an in ceiling 1 per room. I choose the insignia speakers for their great price #1 per pair, and ther specs#2 in the decision. I used a small batt of insulation approx 1 foot away on both sides in the ceiling bays leaving these with a great amount of audible bass, clarity and sound quality. I have let many people listen to the system and they are all amazed at the sound for the price. I bought 6 pairs - Very happy and highly reccomend
