This gets great reviews and I don’t know why. I had a 6qt Instant Pot (just downsized to 3qt) and loved it. My sisters have air fryers and love them so I thought I’d avoid another appliance purchase by purchasing this. Essentially this IS another appliance purchase. The lid is a beast! Huge! So the Instant Pot insert holds the fryer basket. The insert is deep, even with the basket in it so making like a Mexican pizza (using tortillas) is impossible because there’s no space to reach in to place or remove the food. The actual surface area you can use is small and if you load the basket with say tots or fries its not like you can just shake the basket half way through because there’s no handles or anything for removal. Add the tray for a second layer and it gets even more complicated. You have two layers of nuggets frying (because one layer yields about 4-5 nuggets) and need to turn them over half way. There’s no way to get the rack out without first removing whatever is on it. Plus it’s hot. Tongs do not fit in the holes for lifting in and out. Your fingers do but how does that work when it’s hot? It doesn’t unless you don’t want skin on your fingers anymore. The element is in the lid so when you lift that off you have to place it on the provided counter protector. That is scary. The lid is heavy. The element is exposed. The lid doesn’t sit level and secure on the protector. It worked well and I went through serious air fryer withdrawals waiting for the one I ended up ordering after I’d returned this one, but the difficulty/awkwardness of use plus the fact that the coating of the basket bubbled up and came off after not even a couple weeks of use was a deal killer for me. I’d read about the coating bubbling off and I now know that those reviews were true.

My friend was raving about it so I purchased one. Found it on sale and had a gift card. Free shipping was a bonus. Reduced cooking time and cleaning up grease splatter. Healthier as well. Winning!

It does a decent job for what it’s designed to do. The basket that goes inside the pot is on the small size, so if you’re wanting to cook a larger meal like you could in the standard pot, you’d have to cook multiple times. Otherwise it works just fine.

We were not sure before buying this product, but since then using it regularly can say that it is a great addition to our Instapot and useful one.

Wow!! This is bigger than I thought it would be and is going back. I didn't try it out but decided we need a unit more like a toaster oven that can live on the countertop since we have limited storage.

Works on my Insignia pressure cooker. Make sure you get a stainless steel pot to use with it.

Great Christmas gift. My daughter is in college and doesn't have a kitchen. She has an instant pot. This will increase her cooking capability without adding a whole additional appliance!

I got this for my Instapot. Having this gives me more options for cooking all my favorite honey infused dishes. Now I can air fry which is much healthier than deep frying.

Took me awhile to justify the cost but I love this lid!

I use my instant pot more often after I bought this air fryer lid.

Did what I hoped it would-a little unwieldy when it comes to switching food from top to bottom. It should have come with a remedy for that. Instead, I improvised.

Love this air fryer! Great for fried chicken which is the only thing I’ve prepared so far. Glad I bought it.

Still researching more ideas on what kind of food to cook in the pot. However 4 out of the 5 meals we did were awesome and have repeated them.

I think it's good for just being an extra attachment although definitely not a replacement for just buying a separate air fryer.
