Great product have had it a couple of months now. Good sound and dvd works great.

The directions really simple n easy to follow to set it up . Surround system sounds incredible . I'm really happy I bought this best item from Samsung I purchase.

Hi All After a lot of analysis and product comparison, I bought this product and was extremely satisfied. I could not find any Cons with Product and Lot of Pros. I have connected this to DTV as well and getting the Best Sound Effects.

I m very satisfied with this surround sound system. Its very loud and it has a unique quality sound.

On 7/29/12 I purchased a HT-E6500W home theater system (along with a Samsung Television). This product worked fine for several months, then began giving me the following error when trying to play Blu-ray discs: "Cannot read disc." On 5/9/13, I had to send the unit to NJ (from SC) for service (Service Ticket Number: 4119080082). They replaced some parts related to the Blu-ray player and shipped it back to me. It worked fine for a couple of months, and now gives me the same error. I updated the firmware and it did not help. On 9/17/13 I had to send the unit to NJ (from SC) again for service. It played Blu-ray discs for about 2-3 months and now is broken again. This unit is clearly defective and Samsung's customer service was terrible. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!!!

Really happy about this purchase. I watch everything on ss now. Thanks Samsung!

The kids love to watch movies n their tv show great sound they ask to buy the DVDs instead of going to the movies

Purchased this home theater system on 12/26/14. I had to call Samsung after two weeks because it kept shutting off on its own and would display a message reading "FAN NG". Samsung had me unplug the unit and plug it back in which resolved the problem for about two weeks. Now the error message shows up everyday. I will be returning this unit to best buy for a replacement. I'm highly disappointed and I'm contemplating buying another brand.

I consider Samsung to be a good company, but this unit is weak. The sound is not impressive, The unit misuses its power, and overall performance is underwhelming.

I would not recommend this product if you have ever had a surround system with a big sub woofer. I had a Samsung 5 Disc Surround Sound Home Theater. It was much better and hoping for something similar. I'm going to return this and get something different. It's fine unless you like your movies loud with a bunch of bass.

After 2 hours with Samsung customer support, this is going back to Best Buy. What I learned is that when you set the equalizer to on and set specific parameters for your sound and once you set your speaker sound level it does not stay set for all sources of sound. For instance, if you want TV sound and DVR sound to be the same and you set specific parameters, it will not stay set that way for both. When switching (via the source button) between tv and dvr it turns off the equalizer and resets speakers to standard settings. You must manually reset equalizer and speakers each time you listen to a different sound source. This is a real engineering nightmare. Also, the hand held controller is possibly the smallest I have ever encountered in my life. If you have large fingers this will surely frustrate you. Don't buy this.

I love my Samsung Sound System. Very easy to assemble.

if i could give it negative stars i would, I'm more upset at the fact that i brought it opened box assuming like best buy states they tested it and it functions perfectly, the item doesn't play any audio only out of the center speaker the back units stopped receiving audio they work when they fell like it from speakers too and the best part was one of the rear speakers sounds horrible you can tell the speakers were played way to loud. that shouldn't have passed inspection and they shouldn't be sold to members stating excellent open box condition very disappointing will consider my future purchases from best buy now.
